Yesterday

Yesterday I was standing there,
Standing at the same place I saw you last.
It reminded me our you and me and our past.
I still recall your looking my way,
It certainly brightened my day.
To see an old love there, so ever far from home.
I stood there wondering if you could still care for me.


Yesterday I could see
That smile that went across your face
When you saw me standing at that place.
We had such fun, recollected fun times,
I just knew then you'd always be mine.

Yesterday I remembered you,
The memories we shared together.
I was hoping those days would last forever.
But I realized some thing yesterday,
It was years ago I saw you there,
Not Yesterday.
