A Mother's Betrayal

She saw the pain in my eyes.
The sorrow, the hurt, and all the lies.
She manipulated and schemed,
something I never would have dreamed.
I thought she was happy with my dad,
But she said she was just too sad.
Many years gone down the drain,
Two daughters, true love, and memories between.
Will she learn her lesson, and come home to stay?
Or will she go on with her 'friend' far, far away?


*By the way, my parents are back together.....and happy!!!
