The doorbell rang and Lance slowly went up to get it. He opened the door to reveal Brooke.
"Congratulations!" She shouted giving him a hug.
"What's going on?"
"You got the job."
"I did? Thank you so much." He hugged her back.
"What's so exciting?" Joey and Adrianna had walked in seeing the scene.
"You both are looking at the newest legal assistant for Buchner and Tate's law firm." Brooke announced.
"Congratulations Brooke I'm really happy for you." Joey said.
"Not me, Lance."
"How did he get the job he didn't even have an interview?"
"Well he had my uncle's favorite refrence. Me."
"Oh."
"So I was thinking that you and me should go out and celebrate, it is a Friday." Brooke questioned.
"I don't think so I got a lot of things to..."
"Hold it! Wait just a second Brooke." Adrianna pulled Lance over to her and Joey. "You should go."
"What about the kids?"
"We'll take care of them." Joey offered. "You need to get out."
"Yeah, we'll make dinner, entertain them, put them to bed and you can go and have a good time with Brooke."
"Weren't you guys going out tonight?"
"Yeah but we can stay in."
"It's no big deal. So go out with Brooke."
"OK thanks guys." He walked back over to her. "I would love to celebrate this with you."
"OK so dinner tonight?"
"Yeah."
"I'll pick you up at 7:00" She turned towards the door. "Bye."
"Bye." He walked into the kitchen to Joey and Adrianna. "Thanks guys. Are you sure you can handle everything?"
"Of course. We can we are two 16 year olds who are very experienced with working with children."
"OK will you guys try cheering up Justin he's kinda upset."
"Yeah we will."
"And don't let Chris stay up too late."
"We won't, don't worry everything with be OK."

"Wow if you aren't the cutest guy I've ever seen." Adrianna walked into Lance's room as he was adjusting his tie.
"Yeah right."
"No, you clean up very nice." She walked over to him to help him.
"It's been a long time since ya know I've been out."
"I understand, you have nothing to worry about just loosen up you're so tense. It's not that big of a deal right it's not like a date."
"You don't think it's a date?"
"No it's just a dinner to celebrate your job she never said it was a date. So there's nothing to worry about just dinner with a friend."
"I guess you're right."
"I am."
"Are you sure everything will be OK?"
"Yes trust me everything will be fine." The doorbell rang. "She's here."
"Yeah here goes nothing." He stood there for a second.
"Are you going to go out there?"
"Yeah I am." He turned around and walked out the door. He and Brooke then left the house. Then Joey turned to Adrianna.
"So, order a pizza?"
"You bet. I'll go get the others." She went upstairs as Joey openned the phone book. She later returned with the three right behind her.
"What kind do you want?"
"Sausage." Justin answered.
"Anchovies!" Chris shouted.
"Ewww. I want sausage too."
"JC, you hate sausage."
"No I don't if Justin likes sausage I like sausage."
"OK so 1 sausage and a pepperoni for us."
"What about my chovies!"
"OK 1 sausage and ½ pepperoni and ½ anchovies."
"Yay!" Joey ordered the pizza and went to watch tv with Chris and Adrianna.
"What are we watching?"
"Pokemon!" Chris shouted and ran to the floor.
"I asked him what he wanted to watch and he popped in his Pokemon tape."
"That's OK I like to watch this."
"Anna! Come sit with me." He motioned for her to sit on the floor with him. She went to sit with him on the floor. "This is the one where they have to cross the bridge and run into the bicycle gang. You'll like this one." They watched his whole Pokemon tape and then the pizza arrived.
"Move it squirt it's our turn to watch the tv." Justin pushed Chris out of the way.
"Yeah our turn." JC did the same thing.
"Anna! Justin and JC pushed me!" He cried running to her in the kitchen.
"I'm sure they didn't mean to. Right?"
"Yeah we didn't mean to the kid was just in our way."
"They took the TV too."
"It's OK we'll go watch the other one." She took his hand and carried his plate into the other room. She turned it on and put his plate in front of him. "I'll be right back." He nodded his head and took a big bite out of his pizza. She went back to the kitchen and approached Joey.
"Are you going to watch tv with Chris and me or Justin and JC?"
"Well let me see, they are watching a game and you guys are watching more Pokemon. I'll watch it with you."
"Good."
"Besides why would I watch tv with those two when you are waiting in the next room."He wrapped his arms around her waist. "So how bout after dinner we get rid of these runts?"
"Yeah I'm sure they will love to go to bed at 8:30."
"I'm sure they would too. That way we could watch our movie."
"OK we can put Chris to bed, but the others I don't think will be too cooperative."
"I make them, we are in charge they have to do what we say."
"That's true."
"Anna!" Chris ran into the kitchen. "What are you doing Anna? You are my girlfriend." He walked over to her and took her hand and pulled her away from Joey.
"Can you get me some pizza?" She asked before being dragged out of the room.
"Sure." He prepared two plates with a piece of pepperoni pizza on each. He walked into the other room with Chris and Adrianna. He sat down on the floor in between them. They finished their pizza.
"So Chris time for bed."
"No Joey I'm not tired." He yawned.
"Come on I'll put you to bed." Adrianna picked him up and carried him off to his bed. Then Joey walked in where Justin and JC were watching tv.
"You two go to bed!"
"No it's 8:45 I'm not going to bed."
"I'm in charge and I said go to bed."
"but…"
"No buts, go!"
"Come on, JC he just wants to make out with Adrianna."
"I do not."
"It's OK we don't blame you." They turned around and walked up the stairs. JC walked into the room when Adrianna was putting Chris to bed.
"I'm not tired Anna!" He whined.
"Yes you are will you please go to sleep."
"No." He pouted.
"For me?" She asked.
"Well, if it's for you OK." He hugged her neck. "Good night Anna."
"Good night Chris." She got up and headed for the door. "Good night JC."
"Yeah good night." She walked out the door and back downstairs.
"So what are we watching?"
"Friday the 13th part 3!"
"I don't think we should watch this one I haven't seen part 1 or 2 yet. Maybe we could watch a nicer movie like Runaway Bride."
"We don't even have that movie. Anyways this is a classic."
"Fine." They sat down on the couch together and the movie started."I'm cold."
"Just a second." He got up and went to get a blanket. When he returned Chris was sitting on the couch with her. "Hi Chris."
"I wasn't tired so I join you guys to watch movie."
"Oh sure." He sat back down next to her and she leaned over and whispered in his ear.
"I don't think he should be watching this."
"Then tell him to go to bed."
"Me? No he'll hate me."
"Then let him watch it."
"Shhh! I'm trying to watch the movie." They continued to watch the movie. He was just about to kill someone in the movie when she covered up Chris' eyes. Then when it was done she let go.
"What did you do that for I couldn't see?"
"Ah peek-a-boo!"
"I don't want to play games I want to watch the movie." He eventually fell asleep on her. Soon they were all asleep.
Chris was standing in the forest with his teddy bear, Mr. Snuggles clutched under his arm. No one was with him. He turned all around in circles seeing nothing but trees. 'Where am I?' he thought. With a faint sound of a chainsaw in the background.
"Is that you Anna?" No one answered. "Joey? Anybody?" Then out of the shadows jumped two dark figures waving chainsaws in the air. Then they took off their hockey masks to reveal the faces of Justin and JC. "Ahhhhhhhhh!!!"
He woke up from his nightmare.
"Anna! Wake up they are after me!"
"Huh? Who's after you?"
"Justin and JC they kill me."
"No they won't."
"I'm scared."
"Ah I won't let them hurt you."
"Thank you." He laid back down and fell asleep again.Next
