This is a spirit of insolence.
"...you
take too much on you."
Now Korah- the son of lzhar. the son of Kohath, the son
of Levi, and Dathan and Abiram, the son of Eliab, and On, the
son of Peletha sons of Reuben, took
men: And they rose up before Moses, with certain of the
children of Israel, two hundred and fifty princes of the assembly, famous
in the congregation, men of renown. And they gathered themselves together
against Moses and against Aaron, and said unto them, Ye take too much upon
you, seeing all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the LORD
is among them: wherefore then lift ye up yourselves above the congregation
of the LORD? '' -- Num. 1 6: 1 -3.
Very insolently they said, "We will not come up. Will
you try to be a prince over us?'' And Moses sent to call Dathan and Abirann,
the sons of Eliab: which said, We will not come up: Is it a small thing
that thou hast brought us up out of a land
that floweth with milk and honey, to kill us in the wilderness,
except thou make thyself altogether a prince over us?'' -- Num. 16: 12-
13.
This question shows more of their insolence, "Will you put out our eyes so we can't see that you haven't fulfilled your word"?
Moreover thou hast not brought us into a land cometh with
milk and honey, or given us inheritance of fields and vineyards: wilt thou
put out the eyes of these men? We will not come up.''-- Num. l 6:
14.
They were sinning against their own souls.
The censers of these sinners against their own souls,
let them make broad plates for a covering of the altar. for they offered
them before the LORD, therefore
they are hallowed, and they shall be a sign unto the
children of Israel.''
-- Num. l 6:38.
Wolves always attack their leaders. You have trouble in
your own heart so you want to blame your pastor! One man stirred up (254)
men of renown against
Moses.
"And they rose up before Moses, with certain of the children
of Israel, two hundred and fifty princes of the assembly, famous in the
congregations, men of renown.''
-- Num. 16: 2.
The Koran spirit will accuse God's man of, over control,
dictatorship, unfair with demanded having picks, making choice, putting
family first, etc.
Folly is sure for men like this.
"Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these
also resist the truth'. men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the
faith. But they shall proceed
no further, for their folly shall be manifest unto all
men, as theirs also was.''
--II Tim. 3:8-9.
Paul was persecuting Jesus. And he said, Who art thou,
Lord? And the Lord said, I
am Jesus whom thou persecuting: it is hard for thee to
kick against the pricks.''
-- Acts 9:5.
Questions to ask yourself:
l . Do I have a hard time
with my pastor having authority?
2. Do I feel he is unfair
with counsel or demands he
puts on me? "You've got picks, don't
you?.''
3. Do I often want to band
with someone else and speak
against my pastor?
4. Do you get the feeling
"250'' and you will have more
security than standing alone with
your pastor?
5. Do I often feel the pastor
is too hard or abrasive on
the flock? "He didn't deal with that
right?''
6. Do 1 agree with those
saying "cult'' - "dictator'' -
"too much control''?
7. Do l feel the need for
others to listen to me about
how l feel?
Jezebel spirit
This spirit is filled with hatred and seduction
Jezebel slew the prophets of-the Lord. This spirit works
especially in women. "Was it not told of my lord what I did
when Jezebel slew the prophets of the LORD, how I hid an hundred men of
the LORD'S prophets by fifty in a cave, and fed them with bread and water?''
l Kings l 8: 1 3.
It will drive a woman or man to get what they want no
matter what it costs. This spirit hates the man of God. Jezebel put out
letters against the man of God.
"She wrote letters in Ahab's name, and sealed them
with his seal, and sent the letters unto the elders and to the nobles that
were in his city, dwelling with
Naboth.'' -- 1 Kings 2 1 :8.
This Jezebel spirit falsely charges the man of God. She
seeks to discredit the man of God with false charges. This spirit seeks
to conceal and cover up its own
disobedience by accusing others of transgression. "And
she wrote in the lettered saying, Proclaim a fast, and set Naboth on high
among the people; And
set two men, sons of Belial, before him. to bear witness
against him, saying, Thou didst blaspheme God and the king. And them carry
him out, and stone him, that he
may die.'' -- 1 Kings 2 1 :9- 1 0.
This spirit will challenge her husband and Push for control. She will divorce and remarry again and in until she call get an "Ahab" husband that she can manipulate. She wants the true pastor dead or totally stripped of his position. God will judge this spirit!
This spirit will eat and drink what they want and then
ruin what is left for everyone else. ''And as for you, O my flock," thus
saith the Lord GOD: Behold. I judge between cattle and cattle, between
the rams and the he goats. Seemeth it a small thing unto you to have eaten
up the good pasture, but ye must tread down with your feet the residue
of your pastures? And to have drunk of the deep waters, but ye must foul
the residue with your feet?''-- Ezek. 34: 17- 19.
God will judge this spirit! ! !
"Yes '' the Lord replies to and when I am ready, l will
punish the wicked'.'' Psalms 75:2. The Living Bible.
This spirit wants to have the final
word and prevail. It is self-centered!
