Wyn was never known for great speed, only that she rarely made a mistake. She could run for anyone in any position and always got faster as the day progressed. It was not unusual for her to be running her best times at the end of the day. As a height dog (14 inch jumps), her fastest individual time was 4.780 seconds on November 17, 1990.
Wyn was the first dog to receive the titles FD and FDX (September 12, 1987) as well as FDCh (October 17, 1987). She was also the first dog registered with NAFA (001-001). Her last tournament was May 5, 1998, at the age of 12 years, 9 months, and 6 days. She died August 25, 1998. Only a few weeks earlier she had performed a demonstration in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Ironically, it was the same site that she had performed her first demonstration nearly 13 years earlier.
Together, Wyn and Mike have accomplished great things for the sport of Flyball. Because of this, Wyn was inducted into the NAFA Hall of Fame in the year 2000. Wyn is greatly missed and will never be forgotten.
