TWO EXCEPTIONAL RELICS

Canadian knife and spare blade, found as a cache years ago on the Thompson River in British Columbia

The antler handle STILL HELD the basalt blade in place when found on the surface of gravel. This is a once-in-a lifetime find by a good friend, now in my collection.

Greg Perino's Favorite Pipe

My friend Greg Perino got this pipe many years ago from a friend of his. This is highly polished Southern steatite, from Eastern Tennessee, and Mr. Perino cherished this piece and called in "one of my favorites" in our correspondence over the years. I was very pleased to acquire such a nice relic from him as I have much admired his archaeological work over the years. Note the conical drilling and the later gouging coming from use of this pipe.
