How Do You Write A Script?!

So, the other day at drama, Stephanie asked Shirlene, Missy and I to write a script about this schizophrenice girl bent on killing herself called Katie and the script starts with a funeral.
Right.
I thought it'd be easy. The OM script and the Alice in Wonderland scripts were pretty smooth-sailing. But then, they were five to eight minutes long ones. This script had to be about twenty minutes long. Twenty minutes equals twenty pages of hard work, sweat and toil. So we went to the library, got out foolscap and two pencils and begun to make our script take shape. An hour for two pages. We spent nearly the whole day at McDonald's and the library. Hip hip hooray for us.
And the script wasn't even quality material. Except maybe the beginning and ending. It was supposed to be a tragicomedy. It turned out into a soap opera. *pukes* Katie jumps to her death and visits her eight year old darling sister in spirit and scares the hell outta her. Yay for Katie, the schizophrenic.
Schizophrenia rules, y0.
So, yes, basically, script writing is hard work. I hate script writing. Freaking sucks.

Tralala, life goes on,
