Trish hails from Toronto, Canada and was born December 18th, 1976. She lived with her mother, father and her younger sister, Paige. Trish's decision to drop out of education at 14, to pursue a career in modelling, was not met well by her father and sparked a rift between the two. An instant consequence of her brave decision was her father turning his back on his 'rebel' daughter, and he disowned her!
Trish felt a sense of guilt about her father disowning her, but she was adamant about doing what she really wanted to do. From the age of 14 up until 20 she did a lot of modelling.
Whilst travelling between her various modelling jobs, Trish had time to see a few WWE shows and was immediately hooked and really got into it. Her new-found passion and excitement lead her to decide she wanted to get in on the action! So she committed herself to a wrestling school and that occupied most of her time, as she honed her technique and learnt a wealth of skills, but later resumed her modelling. She then decided she wanted to further her love affair with the wrestling business and went for an interview with the WWE.
After talks, they signed a contract and Trish began her career in the WWE!
Trisha Stratigias, later known as Trish Stratus, never could have dreamt that she would aspire to become a success as a fitness model, Sports Entertainment and television celebrity. Everything she had achieved was fuelled by her sheer determination to succeed!
Trish officially joined the WWE in March 2000. She accomplished a lot in her colourful WWE career, such as being a two time Women's Champion. With all her success in the WWE, sprang the desire of becoming a boss, which she had always dreamed of. Eventually, to her amazement, her dream came true when her best friend Ashley Summers's [Starr] Dad gave Ashley her very own federation when she was just 22! Ashley offered Trish the chance of becoming Co-Owner of the WDA, and she had no intention of turning down such a lucrative opportunity!
In the WWE, Trish and The Rock [right] had something intimate flourishing, but it remained a mystery to everyone else, and they decided to keep it that way. The Rock left the WWE behind as he followed Trish into the newly born WDA.
Trish and Starr are now hoping to make the WDA an immense success and take it to the very top of Sports Entertainment!
