Welcome to the Troop 8 website. This site will tell you a little about Troop 8 and Boy Scouts in general.
Thanks to the Rainbow Club of Wyalusing for supporting the Boy Scouts of America for all these years.
On November 11 Troop 8 had a Court of Honor sponsered by the Rainbow Club of Wyalusing and once again we would like to thank them for their support. There are photos on our photo page.
Troop 8 is a Boy Scout based in Wyalusing, PA for over 50 years. The current scoutmasters are Donald and Nancy Newell. The troop participates in many community service projects. They include cleaning up the mess each morning after the Firemen's Carnival, placing Easter eggs out for the annual Easter Egg Hunt, and the continuous project of monthly recycling. The troop recently celebrated its 50th anniversary with a large dinner. This included a display of achievements of Troop 8 and also appearances by its former scoutmasters.
We are always glad to have boys come and see if they would like to join the troop, adult volunteers are also always welcome. If you are intrested click here. This portion of the site is informational even if you are not intrested in joining.
