Soap Star's Secret Shock has spread throughout Soapland today as Eastenders tough man Steve McFadden (Phil Mitchell) revealed an amazing secret. Steve brought the press together and told us "For years now, I have been living a lie. Everyday people see me as a big Eastend bruiser, and now it is time to tell the truth. I am, in fact, Buddha!" This confession came as a shock to us all and in a need to understand we sought an interview with Phil's 'Little Buddha' Ross Kemp (Grant Mitchell) and he had this to say. "Well, Steve told everyone on the set of Eastenders his little secret years ago. We were all very shocked as you can imagine. In fact, to tell the truth, we would have thought he was mad and had him put away if it wasn't for all the uncanny similarities Steve has with Buddha. I mean, just look at him." We asked Steve if he was planning on leaving Eastenders to take his rightful place as Buddha in Kapilavastu, Nepal , and he had this to say. "You're havin' a larf intchya?"
