Recipes The first recipe we have for this opening issue of The Daily Squeegy is a variation on the famous chocolate sponge, created for us by resident chef, Roxanne LaFayette. Frosted Chocolate-esque Cakes Ingredients for 8 cakes 16 Digestive biscuits 1 tbsp instant coffee powder 200ml mayonnaise 200ml shaving foam 1wks unwashed hair Method 1. Take 8 biscuits, place them on a tray and then, using a pallette knife, spread the shaving foam over the tops. Place remaining biscuits on top in a sandwich effect. 2. In a bowl, mix tbsp of coffee powder and 200ml mayonnaise until thick and brown. 3. Coat the biscuit cakes with the 'chocolate' mixture until fully covered. 4. To add an elegant frosted effect, shake unwashed hair over the cakes until perfect. 5. Place in the fridge for 5 hours until set. Voila! Now you have snacks that the children won't be able to get enough of. They are especially popular in the halloween season or even just handed out to random tramps. There you go, you're one step closer to being a chef macabre. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The second recipe from the Daily Squeegy's top chef, Roxanne LaFayette, is a fantastic variation of the classic drink made famous by 'The Dude' in the film 'The Big Lebowski' Chicken in a White Russian Sauce Ingredients for 2 Cocktails 1 shot Kahula Liqueur 2 shots Rum 1 Egg 500ml Milk 2 Chicken Drumsticks 4 Frozen Chicken Nuggets Method 1. Add 1 shot of Kahula Liqueur, 2 shots of Rum and 500ml of milk into a medium sized blender. 2. Add egg to mixture and blend until smooth and frothy. 3. Pour into 2 large whisky glasses. 4. Stir with Chicken Drumsticks until desired amount of Chicken fat has mixed into the drink 5. Add frozen nuggets to chill drink. Now you are left with an interesting cocktail for all the adults to enjoy. For a childish variation for the kids, substitute the alcohol for cranberry juice and cheese sauce. |
