The Story of the Silver Moons
It was a cold, windy night as a man appeared to come out of the blizzard which acted like a white cloak over him. He reached up and touched the back of his neck, rubbing the name Jeditte which has been printed in bold letters. Though he was one man alone he seemed to have filled the white void around him with his focused and determined gaze. He looked up to see the silver moon gleaming in his direction and guiding his path. He continues toward his destination. His walk is long and tedious but he finally reaches his camp. As he waits for the moment of attack he looks upon his hopefuls, who are each unique in ability yet undivided in strength and courage. One of his men run up to him. Its quite dark, I dont know if well be able to pull this off., he says. The night sky shall light our path to victory, the man tells the small crowd in front of him, we shall use it to our advantage. The abundance of depression which had been glooming over the people was suddenly lifted as the man started to give them his words of encouragement. Well win because weve always won, well live because we keep on fighting, well dominate because we have courage and strength. Well fight but not for some chunk of land, not for any treasure or wealth, and not because we have to. We fight, because we can. We fight for what we believe in and what we hope to accomplish. We fight as a team, a singular entity of hope. We fight because our enemies wanted it this way. Finally, we fight for ourselves, to give us a reason to live and to keep on living, to show ourselves that we are capable, and to prove that something extraordinary is possible. Our faith lies in the hands of the moon tonight, it will be our only source of light in our battle. We must take hold of its resilience as if it were something tangible and let it guide our eyes. When you enter the battlefield tonight your closest friend will be your weapon of choice but dont forget why your fighting and whom your fighting with. Let your enemy feel your place in this world. If any of them run away, let them, for they will remember the name Silver Moons and shall tremble before it. We might suffer some casualties as we always have, but if your blood does stain the battlefield tonight, you shall know it was not in vain for we are all brothers. We are all in this together and we shall either win or lose together. If anyone thinks they are not able to follow through with this they may leave at any time. If anyone decides to become a traitor, they will only be seeking their own death. We shall fight, and we shall be proud. The man takes one of the flags from one of his men. This flag shall be my weapon, for it unites us. Lets go out there tonight and show that we may be cut, and that we may even bleed, but nothing nothing shall cut through our unity. We shall not fall! At this the man runs out
into the void as his men follow him. |
