A person can learn much about business from the tax code. Likewise, a person can learn much about the mind from the body and the computer body. Simple things from beneath a level of technical expertise often help experts visualize in easy terms. Yet it's important to remember the chain of priorities and the links of grace with higher reasoning.

Introduction.
The mind is greater than the sum of it's parts. The parts consist largely in the living cells called neurons (Note added 2/24/03: click here for data capacity info), and in chemoelectromagnetic energy pulses.
Memory has been called the footprint of the brain, having been recreated under laboratory conditions via the passage of current resulting in a visible trace line having increased suseptibility to future current; hence such increased suseptibility serves as memory.
Regarding pulses, a co-discoverer of the structure of DNA found that naturally about 40 pulses per second served as the dominant frequency, and this was primarily associated with heart cells.
This, with the observation that given two heart cells not touching each other might beat slightly out of tempo at different rates, we find that when brought together to touch each other, the slower cell syncopates to match the beat.
Many people are concerned with external influences, and with improving the mind. In this discussion, an essential externality effect factor plays a very significant role, namely Sodium (click here for "MGE" discussion).

Protection of the Brain.
With survival based largely on reliable mental activities, our brains have evolved formidable protective electromagnetic shielding.
Just as heat sinks and coaxial cables formed rudimentary electromagnetic protection for electronic components, the brain formed properties to counteract electromagnetic intrusions.
Aside from electromagnetism being introduced into the brain, the brain also protects itself from itself. That is, each neuron protects it's MGE signals from interfering with other neuron activities.

Neurologic Illustration.
The following illustration depicts part of the MGE pulse at the neural cell wall. Normal to nature is the finding of an abundance of electrons, relative to the quantity of available positrons.
Yet brain evolution has utilized that factor to maximize processing speed while minimizing non-MGE.

By using two chemicals, each having an extra electron in it's shell (inert + one electron), changes to their ionizaton factor are readily available, being highly suseptible to electromagnetic pulses.

Fundamental Electromagnetic Principles.
The combination of the negative nerve cell carrier ("K", Potassium), and the positive Na, Sodium, slurry during the pulse moment, results in not only an electrically grounded protection cover, more to the point, it acts as a powerful magnetic protection cover (Reference http://www.angelfire.com/ut/a3/magnetism.html Illustration 2).
The neuron surface at the pulse has the maximum magnetic strength, except unusual to typical electronics, the magnetic strength is magnified by the [internal] adjacent Na electromagnetic strength.
Hardly separable during the pulse due to opposite charges, the K / Na interface forms a momentary bond during the pulse.

Analysis of Brain Function Integrity.
Since during the pulse a powerful bond exists, magnetic flux working to enter or escape from that center point of bond is difficult.
Just as magnetic flux would have to be very powerful to remove electrons from bonded atomic orbits, the MGE pulse bond would withstand great magnetic flux.
It is proffered that magnetic flux at non-pulse points could more easily interfere with otherwise normal signal processing. Yet given the brain has evolved over an extended period of time and had many experiences with external magnetic interferences, it would be logical to understand that it would naturally react to compensate for such forces.
For instance, the brain could routinely produce system check pulses and gap firings. Spurious magnetic flux fields would then be isolated as to depth and area of affect and be classified as non-MGE, possibly in a way similar to the 40 beats per minute rate is expectedly handled.

Future Mental Activities Enhancements.
Just as chiropractors work to optimize relatively easily adjustable nerve functions, in the future we can expect to find advanced MRI type devices capable of pinpointing neurons and interacting with them at the pulse level.
When this is accomplished, great strides might be made toward aiding self healing.
Of greater significance, subliminal education would occur at maximum speed.
Brain implanted chips would magnify desired effects, and structured living implants per gene research would optimize human abilities to that applicable extent.
In combination with other factors, such as chemical compounds, fluid mechanics, and so on, further advancements are certainly expected.

Mind Control Considerations.
Erasing memories, adding memories, and creating thoughts within other people's minds of course has a profound impact on merits, personal identity, and similar.
As with cloning, memory backup systems may cause much debate as to the extent of a person's essence of being. Cryonics could take a new route, and ancestors could be a thing of the future.
Entry into peoples minds via magnetic fields also lends room for mishap as with computer viruses, system failures, and incompatability considerations.
Another aspect is temporary mind control, such as for national security work.
As we advance to meet new challenges, some have said the greatest challenge of all involves the mind. The mind is important, so with collective reasoning, let's properly prepare for the future.

Conclusions.
While many people are concerned about magnetic fields affecting their health, the findings here do not prove or disprove their beliefs, although inherent brain protection from magnetic fields is clear.
From the illustration one can surmise that a proper balance of nutrients is important to this line of reasoning.
Aside from health issues, electronics manufacturers would do well to mimic brain properties through usage of materials of elemental pulse compatability as appropriate.
Security, personal identity, and future considerations will likely be greatly impacted through this line of progress to the point that humans would evolve into new beings (Reference NASA Biocybernetics / VGC).
