Terrorism: Reaction: FEMA and the State Department
and what we're working to defend.

Prior to September 11, 2001, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, FEMA, was generally viewed as a natural disaster protection and relief agency.
For example, when disaster struck the Eastern United States coast a few years ago, this time a hurricane, FEMA worked to activate emergency response services.
However, as hurricanes sometimes do, many of the emergency response teams were also in need of immediate help. One such case involved trucks.
Gibson Machine's Larry Smith (retired) asked A Check Exact, A C.E., to oversee control of the replacement equipment to help FEMA.
Pressed for time, immediate response by A C.E.'s Dr. Bob Benchoff was made. Dr. Bob Benchoff used specialized high tech equipment to quickly gain value results, and was then able to give his immediate approval for FEMA, averting further disaster.
Dr. Bob Benchoff had previously made Mary Ann Iacobucci of FEMA, and Jim Michlewright of USPS aware of other specialized high technology equipment capabilities through pertinent tutorage. This involved teaching aspects of sonar, radar, and similar detection energies.
Later, with the assistance of A C.E. Level III Mike Thomas demonstrating internal and surface Ultrasonics, the A C.E. guests were amazed at the mode conversion implications.
Shown above are Linda Benchoff and Mike Thomas. Linda was the initial A Check Exact Quality Assurance Manager during startup and through the early years. Her duties included overseeing Assurance of the nuclear submarines, such as for Reliance Electric / Rockwell, and new aerospace work, such as for Kaiser Fluid Technologies. Mike Thomas controlled same and reported for Linda's verification. Mike eventually stepped into Linda's position as Linda assumed responsibility for financing the construction (completed less than a year ago 11/30/01) of the new A Check Exact main office building.
Dr. Bob Benchoff financed the adjacent A Check Exact college building, construction has just been completed. Now when students such as Darrel, Donnie, and Carroll Gainey want further education in energy flows, MIL-STD-410, or other, they will have more state-of-the-art benefits (apologies for previous temporary circumstances).
The state-of-the-art structure has a new upper story design able to transform into a variety of shapes for various purposes.

Please Note: While a great deal of government and private enterprise work was done as depicted below, none of it was financed by government or business. It was all financed by individual volunteers cooperating freely.
As magnificent as the Isle of Palms is, a great deal of work has been accomplished there, as it has been functionally convient for many purposes. For instance, in the picture above is a golf cart being driven by a pertinent Head of Security [anonymous].
Dr. Bob Benchoff rode with him and discussed certain issues as people videoed the meetings. Discussions involved many subjects and people such as Senator Hollings who lived nearby, his son, William Hollings, who was a mainline gubernatorial candidate, and government procurement worker Steve Rast.
Hollings, Rast, and many others had been tested by National Association for the Advancement of the American People, on the United States Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.
Many legislative bills have been passed, only to later be found undeclarational and unconstitutional. Also many candidates for the office empowered to write law, evidently know little about their potential empowerment responsibilities. N.A.A.A.P. was cofounded by Scott gru Bell and Dr. Bob Benchoff to correct the situation and to permit voters to be informed in a non-intrusive way: those who pass are published in the newspaper and other media as applicable, the names of those who fail are kept confidential.
N.A.A.A.P. also provided the J. Edgar Hoover Foundation (Reference: FBI) with a proposal for fair funding of scholarships for law students.
Government is less about laws and more about people, and as any FEMA official can tell you, FEMA deals a lot with water. People, for the greater applicable part, are where the water is.
Maritime security is intrinsic to national security. From immigration and spying, to FEMA / State Department emergencies, to shipping containers imported or exported, standards for compliance must be used.
Below are Linda Benchoff and husband Dr. Bob Benchoff, in front of an armada of trawlers. Linda and Bob had performed inspections of marine and marina vehicles, and also oversaw such areas as involving nuclear submarines, airports, dock loading equipment, ocean floor, and food inspection.
Above are Jim and Mary (USPS and FEMA: discussed above); at the head of the table is Ms. Telega with her husband and daughter (representing ZTA-AEP Sorority as Treasurer, who led the group on a tour of Charleston and lavished gifts upon us); and on the right Dr. Bob Benchoff.
Dr. Bob Benchoff taught the group detailed Internet HTML language (new at the time) at the meeting. Dr. Bob Benchoff had previously interacted closely with and Presided over Ms. Telega's sister Millie, who built the first computer for the blind.
Talk about freedom is good, but what good is it if you don't use it? Way to go Jim and Mary...you deserve it.
As President George W. Bush said, we must continue live freely and not succumb to acts of terrorism.
We must not give up on liberty and our rights as free citizens.
