Heres one that has a considerable amount of "yellow" in it! Very pretty. This was picked up on a "island" bank of the Cheyenne River, not two blocks from I-90, at the Wasta Rest Area, just West of Wall, SD. In the spring of the year, these banks make a great hunting area. The large chunks of ice formed during the winter, always push new rocks up onto these islands in the Cheyenne. Not only does the Cheyenne provide good "rock hunting", but is great for Catfish! Yum Yum!
Another one from the Wasta Rest Area. It seems like many Fairburns from this area have that yellow color to them. Its always exciting to find different colored Fairburns. Heck, its always exciting when you find any Fairburns!
More of that yellow color, only this one was found at the Creston Sand Plant. This was the only one I found at Creston that had the yellow color, but then the Cheyenne River runs right through it too! Most of the Fairburns at Creston seems to be in darker colored matrix, and usually have red, white or black patterns.
