One has a roll-in shower for residents in wheelchairs. Laundry facilities are available for the use of our residents. Each bedroom is equipped for cable television and personal phone lines. The front and back yards are large. There is ample room for picnics and lawn sports.
The Bradley House has three resident bedrooms and one wheelchair accessible bathroom on the main floor. Both the front and rear entrances are ramped for wheelchair access. The rear deck looks out over a lovely private yard. The resident bedrooms are equipped for cable television and are wired for private telephones.
Our staffs are available 24 hours per day to provide for the needs of each resident. Accommodations are available through local agencies for residents requiring medical or personal care. Weekly massage therapy is also available.
We strive to provide reality-based services for each resident designed around each individual’s needs and personal goals. The goals are stated in functional, real life, meaningful and measurable terms defined by the resident and those in their circle of support. The goals may include maximizing independence, vocational objectives, educational options, spiritual growth, physical health and socialization.
To provide a comfortable home environment, we try as much as is possible to accommodate personal tastes and preferences in décor, activities accessibility, food and overall mood.
We believe that to promote hope and purpose it is essential that our residents participate in decisions, that they exercise personal choices and that they have a sense of self-direction. We believe that all people are valuable and have the right to maximize their choices and abilities an to fully participate in their community. It is our goal to assist those placed in our care to be an independent member of their community, accessing supports when necessary and participating in the community as they choose and are able.
