LA Meeting: July 18, 2002
present: Fraibert, Filby, Finigrin, Frodo, Talvo, Sam
not in attendance: Merry, Estella, Henna
Sam says, "Basically, I'm hoping this meeting will accomplish two things.
First, by the end of tonight we'll have clearer ideas of what each LA is
responsible for, i.e. their concentrations for +duties and their +czar assignments--but
we'll also be able to give out ideas about what needs to be done here in
the Shire, what's working, and what's not. I want to hear all y'all: I want
this to be a dialogue. I don't wanna talk my brain out."
Sam says, "I also want to have a question and answer time, etc... but our
first order of business is +shire duties. Since the staff has changed face
a bit, I'm hoping that people will come forward to take care of the areas
that intrest them most. I don't want to force anyone into anything."
Frodo thinks you know how some of us are. ;)
Sam says, "What I see as duties fall under these categories: Pipeweed, +healers,
+trainers, coding/building, Social, Theme, and Pipeweed/Commerce... these
are OOC positions that have direct and long lasting IC concequences. People
are welcome to work on more than one aspect--but right now there is quite
a bit of overlapping. I want everyone to be aware of what they're doing
and who's out there to help them."
Sam says, "So... I guess the easiest way to do this is just open up the question--who's
involved in what?"
Frodo promises to be a bit quieter, but can say up front. . ."I think it's
for the best if I'm involved w/theme, +healers, and social. That's mostly
where I am now and have always been, and those are, from our experimentation,
my strongest points. You don't want to see what my coding looks like."
Sam can just imagine ;)
Frodo says, "So. . .if you want me somewhere else, I'll serve and gladly,
but can't guarantee any level of skill. ;)"
Talvo says, "I'm good on pipeweed and coding, and I wouldn't mind a go at
+training and maybe Commerce, too... :)"
Sam nods. "I know Henna will be heading up +healers, since she's still active
as one, with you. Merry and Estella have both expressed interest in social,
as well."
Filby says, "Personally, I think I'm best suited to theme and pipeweed...
I don't know if I'd do well at much else, but I'm willing to try."
Sam says, "Cool, Talvo. I have a feeling that you'll do very well with +training,
and I'm going to see if Merry will help out with that... Filby, you are most
perfectly suited for both of those, definitely."
Frodo says, "Yes, excellent. Henna and I have been discussing the +healer
stuff extensively and seem to be a match made in heaven as a team."
Sam says, "And coding, of course!"
Finigrin nods. "I know that I'm no coding whiz myself and would prefer to
leave that to those with more skill (Like Tal! ;) . I'll serve anywhere you
need me to, though I suppose that I'd be suited for Social and would try
my hand at commerce and +training as well. Basically, I'm open for suggestions."
Fraibert says, "Same... I don't know what to say..."
Sam grins. "Fini--I thought perhaps you'd like to help with the building
aspect of coding, and Fraibert, with Theme, if possible. We can start you
both out slowly, since you're relatively new."
"We also need some LAs who are more newbie minded to help me with +greeters
and things of that nature.
Sam says, "We also need some LAs who are more newbie minded to help
me with +greeters and things of that nature."
Frodo would be delighted to help w/the teaching aspects of that as far as
writing things and doing classes.
Finigrin nods. "I'm cool with that... :) I'd be willing to tackle +greeter
issues as well. :)"
Frodo says, "I'm not as much as a +greeter traininer one to one."
Talvo says, "I'd like to stay w/+greeting, too.."
Sam nods. "Well, here's my idea. I want one or two hobbits to take a category
as a major--like in college--and two or three as minors. So it'd look like
this..."
Frodo says, "Oh, how cute :)"
"I have Finigrin down for a Major in Newbie with a minor in Building/Coding
and +trainers.
You say, "I have Finigrin down for a Major in Newbie with a minor in Building/Coding
and +trainers."
Sam says, "Some, like Pipeweed and Theme, Filby, are rather large: I wouldn't
expect you to take more."
Filby nods.
Sam says, "But perhaps we could combine a little Pipeweed with commerce,
because it's connected."
Filby says, "Yes."
"So, from what you've all said, here's what I got so far--please, correct
me if I'm wrong..." says Sam.
"Frodo: Social, +healers, theme
Fraibert: Theme, social, +trainers
Filby: Pipeweed (commerce), theme
Finigrin: Newbie, +grainers, building/coding
Talvo: Coding, +trainers, newbie, pipeweed
Merry: +trainers, coding, social
Estella: Social, coding, newbie
Henna: +Healers, social, newbie
Sam: Newbie, Theme, +ruler stuff"
Sam says, "Those are estimates...Estella, note, is not head of cooking."
Filby chuckles. "Thank the Lord."
Frodo says, "No complaints w/that. ;)"
Frodo grins.
Finigrin says, "Looks good to me. :)"
Filby says, "Yes, to me as well."
Talvo nods, "And me."
Fraibert says, "Looks fine :)"
Sam says, "Awesome. Those not present I've already talked to, to try and
work things out with them, as well. Okay. So, if y'all do me a favor.."
Sam says, "+Shire duties needs some streamlining. This will allow our players
to see who to go to for information, and save a lot of confusion."
Sam says, "I know we'll need to figure out clearer descriptions of what's
going on in each category, but for now, it's a start."
Sam says, "The command is just &duties me. Then +shire admins"
Finigrin nods. "Done. :)"
Filby says, "Yep, me too."
Sam says, "Awesome. You guys rock."
Fraibert set :)
Frodo says, "We're such quick studies ;D"
Fraibert laughs!
Sam says, "Now, I'm sure some of you are not familiar with +shire czar. This
sort of mirrors +shire admins--but is rather... shall we say... outdated.
There are lots of smaller tasks."
Sam is removing folks from it as we speak.
Filby says, "Great."
Sam says, "Okay. There we are."
Sam says, "I think we should be limited to no more than one extra from those
we are involved in, if possible. Rp and theme are rather the same... as social
and family."
Frodo says, "Perhaps we could get those duplications deleted from shire czar,
then. . . ."
Sam says, "Yes... that's a good idea..."
Sam says, "Combat and trainers are similar as well... I dunno how to work
the code to change it."
Talvo will take a look at it...
Sam says, "While we're thinking about this, I want to just have general discussion...
I can go down the list and ask folks to just express a little, or we can
just wait 'til someone speaks first :)"
Fraibert says, "The list probably will keep us a bit more organized :)"
Sam says, "Okay.... hmm...Pick a number between one and 10.
Frodo says, "3."
Sam ROTFL.
Finigrin says, "5"
Fraibert says, "10"
Sam says, "Frodo... you win. I guess the stars deem it. That's the number
I picked... heh. Go ahead."
Frodo LOLs -
Sam walks off the podium.
Frodo says, "See, Frodo and Sam ARE on the same wavelength. Eeeep! What do
I have to do?"
Frodo says, "Ummm. . .this isn't about a ring and a trip again, is it?"
Sam says, "Just ... questions for me, or for others, or general comments..."
Sam says, "That's all."
Frodo eyes Sam nervously. . .then calms down. "Whew! Oh, God, I hardly know
where to start. You've heard my mouthful on more than one occasion, so I'll
try and be comparatively brief, but. . .hrm. Well, I like what we're doing
with the different areas tonight, and I find that very helpful. Some issues
that I think need to be addressed are <more>. . .
Frodo says, "(a) The +greeters. . .standardization of training and help for
them. And I think towards autumn, we will need more of them. That's something
I know our +greeter folks will address, of course, but while I have the floor.
;) (b) Theme issues. Something I'd like to throw open for discussion is how
we want to address the issue of "enforcing" (I hate that word) theme with
regard to high-problem topics like courtship and tween behaviour and such.
I think it would be great if we could establish some sense of how precise
we want to be with this. . .there's a fair bit of ground between throwing
theme out the window/letting anything go and killing every bit of fun/police-effect."
Frodo says, "I'd also like to (c) note that I really love when we have discussions
on the Sla-bb. . .while we can talk out a lot of things on com, it's great
when the main ones get translated into a posting or two, b/c that allows
those not there at the time to participate later."
Frodo says, "One last thing and then I'll hush -"
Frodo says, "Regarding the whole restriction matter. . .families, ages, tempalts,
etc. . . . I think this is ultimately one of those situations where we'll
always have issues to address. But I do think we can find a nice middle ground
between chaos and a police state. I'd love if we could do some sort of mentoring,
some way, though I honestly don't have a great idea of that yet except in
certain relationships like +healer stuff. . .b/c while families are great
for that, as we were saying the other day, get one poor LA with Saphire,
Garnet, and Eliado for their kids, and they'd be afraid to log on."
Frodo says, "There is something else, but it's not an item. . ."
Sam says, "Well, yes. I'm regulating +greetering--which I'll be doing with
the Newbie LAs, and having a +greeter meeting soon. I think each +greeter
should have a +mail that has the guidelines all written down... Torvo is
going to help with that as well. As far as thematic 'enforcements'... that's
a very tough topic."
Fraibert says, "I've mentioned this before, but, perhaps, as lame as it sounds,
we should have a sort of 'handbook' for the +greeters."
Sam says, "I totally agree, Fraibert."
Sam says, "Perhaps a file? +shire info +greeter?"
Fraibert says, "Though, from my own experience, I'm confident it will be
pages on pages..."
Talvo says, "Isnt that what +Shire AInfo Culturing does?"
Sam nods. "It does... but... I'm not sure everyone's reading it."
Sam says, "WE also need to do something about troubleshooting... i.e. when
+culturing goes wrong."
Frodo says, "Hear, hear!"
Fraibert says, "That's what I was going to say... It really doesn't address
a procedure for troubling people."
Frodo says, "I'd like to publicly (well, among the LAs!) applaud Sam's +rulership.
Honestly, it is a nerve-wracking process making such a major transition.
Every +ruler frets, I think, to some degree over what things will be like,
even though they've selected their own successors. . .but I can honestly
say that I have really been delighted to see Sam continue and start so many
things I wanted to see, and to see her coming up with such great stuff. And
I can't begin to say how much I appreciate the way she's worked with me in
my new/old roles. Thanks, Sam. :)"
Frodo sits down.
Frodo says, "You know, it could almost be done humourously. A section on
"What do I do when I get THIS kind of newbie? ie, The World-Traveller, The
Hopeless Romantic, etc."
Sam nods to Frodo. "And thanks, Fro. :)
Sam says, "I think that'd be a splendid idea... the troubleshooting handbook
for clueless newbies or somesort.... like ... say... what happens when a
newbie gets eaten by a Barrow-wight? Or steals the buffet table? ;)"
Sam ducks.
Frodo LOLs.
Fraibert says, "That would be great. Back when I was training to be a +greeter
I took a MS Word document and kinda wrote down notes and the like... LOL"
Frodo says, "Yes, that would be fun. . . ."
Fraibert says, "Oh, gosh... it would be scary ;)"
Frodo says, "Both for the folks doing input and the ones needing to use it.
:)"
Sam tickles Filby and continues... "Yes, Fraibert--perhaps that could be
adapted? We could +mail it to every new +greeter and tell them to keep it
in the +mailbox. Or add a file.
Filby chuckles at the comment. ;p
Frodo says, "A file would be nice. . .in case folks delete by accident. .
. ."
Frodo says, "And to save strain on the system."
Sam says, "Alright. And as far as restricted families... it's still
in the process of being adapted. I'm going to have a five person committe
to vote on them when they come up to question. It's in the works. I'll have
it ironed out by the end of the month I hope."
Finigrin agrees.
Fraibert nods. "It could be, though it stands as a 5 page long document atm..."
Sam says, "Editing!"
Sam says, "Neeext... Fini?"
Finigrin gulps and hesitantly takes the podium.
Sam giggles.
Finigrin says, "Well, my main concerns lie with those already expressed,
the recently debated issues of restrictions but there is one other, more
minor thing that I've been turning over in my head. It seems that our +shire
relatives list has grown considerably. I realise it's not massive, but it
does have a good amount of entries. I was just wondering how many folks really
check it. Maybe we can post something to publicize it as it seems that most
of the older posts still remain and the list appears to be growing. I realise
that it's not mandatory to take up IC family member but perhaps we should
promote it more during the family portion of +culturing? Or when we turn
'em loose. Thoughts? (I'm sure I can think of somethin' else to discuss but
that's the first that came to mind besides the issues currently on the BB.)"
Frodo says, "Actually -"
Frodo says, "I'm looking at that - do we need to put player age? That seems
almost like it's. . .implying the wrong kind of thing. . .unless it's more
clearly put, ie, labelled Character Age."
Finigrin nods. "I see what you mean... Yeah, I'd agree with you, Fro..."
Talvo nods, "Good point. I'll change that now?"
Sam hmm's. "Firstly, the +shire scan command is supposed to help us keep
tabs on newbies, but I don't think we're using it to our greatest ability.
It's some lovely code. We need to make sure we're following up with them,
inviting them personally to events, and telling them about things like +Shire
relatives."
Sam says, "But again... with the clarafied Newbie LAs... we'll be able to
be more of a task-force in this sort of issue."
Frodo nodnods.
Finigrin nods.
Sam says, "Thank you, Finigrin. You have very good insight. +shire relatives
is important... it's somethign we need to concentrate more on."
Finigrin blushes. "Thanks... Like I said, I'm sure I'll have opinions on
the other issues that will be brought up tonight but that was just something
that I'd noticed..."
Sam says, "Right. And as Frodo mentioned, before, it's important to keep
chatting on Sla-bb. I'm glad we're doing that. Okay... done Fini?"
Sam says, "Filby?"
Finigrin says, "Sorry, MUSHclient flipped out on me. "Mmm, taters. ;)""
Filby says, "First of all, I'd like to take the opportunity to make clear
that I NEVER TOUCHED THE BUFFET TABLE. ;p That said, I don't have much to
say that hasn't already been addressed. However, one thing I do think we
should look at is the Watch... the Shirriffs have been extremely inactive
in the last few months, and, if I may be so bold to say so, I think we need
to work on it."
Frodo pages: What's funny is what he said about HER drinking in front of
Jodinas. . .and now. . . .
Frodo thinks that's an EXCELLENT point about the shirriffs.
Frodo says, "Shirriffs and bounders really need addressing."
Sam ROTFL.
Filby says, "Thank you. I mean, when we had a few active captains and sergeants,
and Olfo had that webpage going, they were pretty active. But as far as I
know, the RP I had with Olfo the other day was the first Shirriff RP in months."
Sam says, "Yes. I forgot to mention that. I want the +trainers to be involved
with the Bounders and the Shirriffs because they're the ones most likely
to be in need of combat +training."
Frodo thinks that's excellent.
Filby nods.
Sam says, "I think we need to advertise the positions more; I think
a lot of newbies don't even know it's an option."
Fraibert says, "Perhaps it should be application based? As it would take
some effort to prepare..."
Sam says, "But they're an excellent part of the Shire--and really get some
of the more 'adventurous' folks to put their energy someplace useful."
Frodo says, "And the wrong types want it. . .oooooh, that would be great."
Fraibert says, "Perhaps we could have like a info file that just lists various
job ideas... That would help with +titling too"
Filby says, "And other IC organizations, like the Hobbitry-in-Arms, the Buckland
Guard, and the Quick Post/Messenger Service should also be open to experienced
players IMO... but they can wait until we're done with the Watch."
Sam says, "Excellent, Filby... splendid."
Filby says, "Thank you."
"We need more variety, IMO... makes for happier players in the end, and
better RP, too.
You say, "We need more variety, IMO... makes for happier players in the end,
and better RP, too."
Frodo thinks that sounds lovely.
Filby says, "I also agree with the application idea. That came up a while
ago, didn't it? But I don't think it's been addressed again until now."
Sam says, "Yes. What's the general consensus on having applications, here?
For high-families and jobs?"
Frodo says, "Yea! yea!"
Filby nods.
Fraibert says, "Makes sense IMO."
Talvo is all for it.
Sam says, "Fini?"
Finigrin nods. "I'm for it. :)"
Sam says, "Groovy. Well. We already have a majority. And I think I've persuaded
Merry. What I want is inclusive applications... not making things for elite
only, but just for people who really want to accomplish something. Sometimes
it's not just about skill, but about potential."
Fraibert says, "So more thematic based than anything else?"
Sam says, "Yes. Theme is absolutely necessary. IF these players are going
to be in high places, they need to be good examples."
Frodo says, "Superb."
Filby nods, "I wholly agree."
Sam says, "But we can't just turn people away because they're new; we need
to encourage some folks to start applications at the beginning. I think it's
hard for some peopel to change characters. Starting with the newbies a great
way."
Sam says, "No one is perfect, afterall... and everyone starts somewhere.
Some people might just ooze potential."
Filby says, "Yes. If I recall correctly, that's how we did things in Erebor
with the guard, the clans, and other such things. I'm sure it would work
here."
Sam says, "I'm working on a draft for applications. I'll have it posted to
the BB ASAP, too. Suggestions for questions and help is encouraged if anyone
wants."
Sam says, "Im' certain it would work here. Positive. We just have to make
it more... streamlined."
Fraibert says, "Makes sense..."
Filby nods. "Indeed."
Fraibert says, "And this will be approved by committee?"
Sam says, "We'll have to have two different ones. One for restricted families
and one for Bounders and Shirriffs and such."
Fraibert says, "How long should the turn around be then for these things?"
Sam says, "I'm working on that. As soon as possible. I don't want people
waiting around forever."
Filby nods.
Sam says, "But those are details that will best be addressed via Sla-bb,
I think. ANything else, Filbs?"
Filby says, "Actually, yes... there is one more thing I'd like to address."
Sam nods. "Go ahead."
Filby says, "Not a concern, but a suggestion pertaining to roleplay in the
Shire. I think it might be interesting to bring the political parties (the
SPP, OLC, NTL, etc) we had going a while ago back into the foreground...
I remember having great fun with political competition and rivalries during
last year's elections, and I imagine that many newbies and some oldbies might
find it interesting as well. Like maybe a meeting once an OOC month, maybe
an occasional TP centering around them. But nothing really big, I think."
Sam smirks. "Yes!"
Finigrin nods! "That'd be great! :)"
Sam says, "Politics are great. And we are in *need* of TPs."
Filby says, "Thank you. :)"
Sam says, "I want to add SOD into that."
Filby says, "Ahhh yes, I'd totally forgotten about that."
Sam says, "Rubella Baggins and Acanthus Bolger would be most interested."
Sam says, "Lovely. Okay. So, I'm writing this all down. :)"
Sam says, "I'm going to post a synopsis of this to the Sla-bb so everyone
can read, and post the log up somewhere, as well."
Sam says, "Thank you, Filby."
Filby says, "And the EBS (there was a meeting a few weeks ago, right?), the
PGC, the DPP (maybe a TP with Ered Luin? Better than them just sticking around
a day or two without RPing before running off again), and the PGA."
Filby says, "You're welcome. :)"
Sam says, "Talvo?"
Talvo grins, "Pretty much everything I had's already been covered now :)
The only thing I have left is Travel. The Bree Trip we did a while back was
great fun for everyone who went from the Shire, and we dont get that much
Rp with Outsiders other than the Ered-Luin dwarves, really, so I think it'd
be good if we could get more stuff going w/other cultures, Bree especially...."
Frodo grins. "Yes, the PGC has potential too."
Sam says, "Actually--that's totally in the works. Gerthan is interested in
bringing some Breefolk to *US*--but I also think we need to increase the
dwarf passage and our pipeweed routes."
Frodo nods laggily.
Filby chuckles. "I could talk an Yfel human or two into causing trouble around
these parts."
Talvo uh-ohs... :)
Sam says, "I'm also encouraging some elfies to come 'round! And another
Bree trip--better organized on their part--will be happening soon. We really
need to help Bree. I always feel like we're connected."
Sam can help with that Yfel stuff :)
Filby says, "We could stand to see Isen agents up here a little more often,
too. I mean, if Rumaile's on our culture's com, he should spend at least
a little time in the area. ;p"
Sam says, "Talvo, with Pipeweed, perhaps you can help out with a little Travel,
too. Filby, you as well, perhaps, with your big ties throughout the MUSH."
Filby nods.
Sam nods, and laughs. "Humans. Silly folk."
Talvo nods, "Sure."
Sam says, "Any other nubblets of wisdom, Talvster?"
Talvo says, "No, you beat me to it with the others I had :)"
Sam laughs. "Okay--Frai!
Filby says, "I might be able to talk to Ori about some Ereborites heading
this way too. But he's not as active as he used to be, and the staff has
undergone a lot of turmoil since I left. *shuts up now*"
Sam says, "No, it's okay--Talk is good!"
Sam says, "That was the point."
Filby chuckles. "Right."
Sam notes the predominance of F-names on staff... I feel... left out :)
Fraibert laughs!
Frodo grins.
Finigrin chuckles and patpats! ;)
Frodo says, "Poor Sam. Should we dub you Famwise?"
Sam says, "And Falvo?"
Frodo grins!
Finigrin giggles!
Finigrin is afraid she must be going. "Thanks for the discussion and I'll
see you all later. :)"
Fraibert says, "Bye Fini! :)"
Filby says, "So long... thank you, too."
Finigrin has disconnected.
Talvo gahs, booted...Anything happen after Fini disconnected?
Filby shakes his head.
Fraibert says, "I just had a thought... Concering +money and the seeming
obsession with having it...."
Sam says, "LOL... yes. What's to be done about that?"
Sam says,"Any particular suggestions?"
Fraibert says, "I really don't know... Discourage the bank account thing?"
Sam says, "Either that, or re-establish it full swing. We can't do it with
some and not with others."
Sam says, "It's one or the other, I seem to think."
Talvo says, "The Bank Account is the best way to get someone to actually
write a history, or so I tend to find..."
Sam says, "Yes. Bribery!"
Talvo grins, "Exactly.." ;)
Frodo grins.
Filby says, "I'm afraid I'll have to be off now..."
Sam says, "S'okay, Filb; thanks for being here. :)"
Sam will post the log tomorrow night.
Talvo says, "See you later, Filby :)"
Fraibert says, "Later Filby! :)"
Filby says, "You're welcome. Thank you all. :) I greatly anticipate reading
the rest of the log."
Frodo waves to Filby.
Filby disappears in a flash of multicolored light.
Filby has disconnected.
Sam says, "Well, if we're going to re-establish the bank account, we need
someone in charge of it."
Talvo can do that...
Frodo loves reviewing setups if directed to specific ones.
Sam says, "How about Fraibert and Filby?"
Sam says, "And perhaps Finigrin. I'd like y'all to work together; banking
can be a pain in the rear."
Fraibert can do it
Sam says, "I don't want some of you to do too much :) My goal is to have
a balance of power :)"
Sam says, "That's on +shire czar :)"
Talvo chuckles, "Does history reviews come under Newbies or Theme?" :)
Talvo says, "Do, not does..."
Sam says, "Both, actually. We shoudl all be doing that."
Fraibert says, "I've gotten a few pages recently about that exact thing.."
Sam says, "As much as possible. Newbie is in charge first, but Theme should
keep an eye out."
Sam says, "if there are questions, it should be brought to the LAs, basically,
or to ,sadm."
Talvo has another thing, btw, that I just remembered...
Sam says, "Go ahead :)"
Talvo says, "ALAs and +Greeters - I guess the +greeter meeting will cover
this to a large extent, but.. I think a lot of the +greeters dont know what
they should be doing in the way of newbies, like reviewing a history their
newbie writes, and what they should defer to the LAs..."
Sam nods. "Yea. It's difficult. Especially with the ALA gap. I want ALAs
to be involved in TPs, and newbie followup more than the +greeters who are
there to be mentors, in a sense, to the newbies.
Fraibert nods.
Sam says, "But we're gonna all have to talk about that..."
Sam says, "At a later date."
Sam says, "But an excellent observation1"
Talvo nods, "Ok, cool. And one more thing as well, now.. :) +Shire Czars
seems to pretty much be a more detailed version of the Duties listings on
+Shire Admins, so maybe it'd be a good idea to make that available to everyone
to see?"
Sam nods. "Yeah. I agree!"
Sam says, "Other opinions?"
Fraibert says, "I think it makes sense :)"
Sam says, "Well. I'd like to close with one more thing.. if that's alright."
Fraibert says, "Of course..."
Sam says, "I'd like you all to knwo that you are amazing. I really... completely..
appreciate all you're doing. It's been... to say the least, a challenge this
summer! I will do my *best* to take time to hear you all out and work things
to the best of my abilities. Feel free to call me on things when you see
them... I know I'm going to make mistakes. But you all have been so wonderful
and understanding. I can't ask for better folks. :)"
Talvo hugs Sam :)
Fraibert snugs, "Thanks Sam!" :)
Frodo huggies. :D
Sam grins and blushes.
Sam says, "And if you have any comments you don't want to make here--feel
free to +mail or page me."
Sam says, "I know sometimes being and LA can be a tricky thing. Just know
I'm always here. After the next few weeks I'll be much more of a presence--right
now I'm so busy it's insane. But once school starts... I'll have more time."
Sam says, "MEANWHILE.... we're going places, and I'm proud to say the future
looks mighty bright--thanks to you all!"
Talvo says, "Sorry to only start thinking at the end - ok if I mention somethign
else quickly?"
Sam says, "Sure!"
Talvo nods, "Thanks. I know someone mentioned the fact we might need some
more +greeters earlier on, but unfortunatly a fair few of our ALAs have become
inactive recently, and a couple are up for Purging on the first of the month.
Maybe we could do w/bringing a few of our current, more active and thematic
greeters up to ALA level?"
Sam says, "That's a good idea, as well. A few spring to mind."
Sam says, "I'm going to ask for LA suggestions on sla-bb."
Talvo cools, "Well, I'm done now." :)
Sam says, "Awesome!"
Sam says, "Again... thank you *all*."
Sam says, "I'm afraid I must sign off as well. If there are any afterthoughts,
please, +mail or post. I'll see you all tomorrow night."
Talvo hugs, "Night Sam." :)
Sam hugs.
Fraibert snugs, "Good Night Sam!" :)
Sam hugs all around.
Talvo disappears in a puff of smoke.
Talvo pushes open the wooden door of the shed, its hinges creaking with the
effort. He steps outside and lets the door swing closed behind him with a
slam.
Sam says, "I declare this meeting adjourned."
