Qusar Tibetan Healing Centre

was founded by Dr.Namgyal Qusar and was inaugurated on April15,2001 after perfoming a special spiritual ceremony to bestow health and happiness to all living beings.His Holiness the 17th Karmapa also visited & blessed the centre.It is aimed and dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the rich medical heritage of the Tibet whilst exile in India,by bringing the age-old medical tradition into the expert guidance of Dr.Qusar. This Centres goals are to complement the services of Tibetan Medicine that are already available in other existing institutes.Integration of spiritual and scientific aspects of the Tibetan healingtradition is given great importance at the Centre. The Centre provides medicine at free or at a subsidised price to the poor and needy local Tibetan and Indian clients.We also provide free drinking water to the local community whenever there is a lack of municipal water supply.People from all over the world are visiting the Healing Centre for their health-related problems and for the study of Tibetan Medicine.
