Dr.Namgyal Qusar

is the founding Director of the Centre.After the graduation in Tibetan Nedicine in 1986 from Men-Tsee-Khang he served in the Research and Development Department of the Institute until 1999.In 1994 he was appointed the Deputy Director of the Research and Development Department,during which he developed several herbal products for Men-Tsee-Khang.These products became very popular. He was the main Project Initiator and Project Designer on clinical research studies at Men-Tsee-Khang.He had been the editor of TMAI Newsletter and sMan-rTsis Journal of Men-Tee-Khang and authored a book entitled published in French.It had been translated into German,Italian and Bulgarian. Dr.Qusar is one of the best English-speaking teachers on Tibetan Medicine.He has a vast experience for more than 15 years as a teacher and a physicians of Tibetan Medicine.At present, he has many students in Germany and in India. Norbulingka Institute of Highher Tibetan Studies in Dharamsala.He is also an Honorary Medical Consultant,Permanent Representative and life member of the Institute of International Affairs, Boissy,St-Lager,France,and a member of the Fellow of International council of Ayurveda,India.Men-Tsee-Khang honoured him with Menrampa degree (equivalent to MD)in 1999.He also gives talks on radio and Television shows concerning Tibetan Medicine. Dr.Qusar has successfully treated many patients with chronic diseases and their testimonies are recorded at the Centre.The American biographical Institute awarded him"Man of the Year 1999" based on "his outstanding accomplishments to date and noble example he has set for his entire community".
