Playing in his second game back from injury, Allen Iverson scored a team-high 20 points in the Sixers 100-80 win over the LA Clippers. Kenny Thomas scored 16 points and grabbed a game-high 13 rebounds, while Eric Snow scored 15 points and dished out 9 assists. Glenn Robinson chipped in with 19 points and Samuel Dalembert supplied 12 points, 8 boards and 3 blocks.

The USA Mens Basketball team set a perfect 10-0 record at the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament and won themselves the gold medal and a trip to Athens. A big part of this team was our very own Allen Iverson who averaged 14.3 PPG (2nd on the team), 3.75 APG, 2.5 RPG, and 1.63 SPG (1st on the team) in a team-high 22.9 MPG. All the USA players played very well averaging over 100 PPG, and allowing just over 70 PPG. A great effort by the whole team and Good Luck at Athens!!!!!
Glenn Robinsn to Philly The Sixers aquired Glenn Robinson and Marc Jackson in a Four-Team trade. The trade involved sending Keith Van Horn to New York and Randy Holcomb to Atlanta. Also, New York sent Latrell Sprewell to Minnesota, and the Wolves sent Terrell Brandon to Atlanta.
