Restored Dolls
This page features dolls that aren't really customized. They have been restored, or "improved", to reclaim their former beauty.

This vintage Midge is my first attempt at restoration. Her hair was fully rerooted and styled. I touched up the paint
in her eyes, fixed the paint on her eyelids, and restored her lip paint. Since I only had the head, I found a body for her at the flea market.
She is wearing a Fashion Avenue outfit. I'm not happy with the way the part in her hair turned out, so that is why she is wearing a cap!

I would like to blame the butchered haircut this Gold Coast/Riviera Barbie suffered on some
kid - but it was me! Hair cutting is not something that I excel at. So I made amends for my blunder by giving her
long brown hair to complement her tan skin. She seems to like it!

When this Twist'n'Turn head came to me, it was bald. All I did was reroot
some brown wavy hair in. She is wearing a partly shredded American
Airlines stewardess outfit I found at the flea market.
