Although it was spring, the morning air was chill enough for me to require a coat. I donned my gray parka over my tight tee-shirt and blue jeans. I stepped through the doorway and carefully slid the glass shut before venturing out onto the patio. Just because I was a freak who stayed up all night didn't mean anyone else had to. The morning dew clung to the grass even after my boots tread through it. I was sure that it could not get through my trusty Docs. Damn I loved those shoes. Had them near forever.
I entered the beginnings of the woods and looked back, to be sure that no one was watching. It's not like I wasn't allowed out at 4:30 am, but I think it would have freaked out my folks. I often went out on walks like this, and didn't want them to find out. These woods were my one secret, no one else in my family really cared for them or ventured very far.
So, I made my way through, plenty of light filtering in through the skinny, twisted tree trunks. Undergrowth constantly slapped against my jeans, my Docs slipped through the mulchy earth beneath us. Then, I thought I heard a sound. I froze, and heard a footstep echo out in front of me before all was quiet again. I kept walking, at a slower pace, and when I stopped agian, the same happened. I was sure that there was someone else out here, and it was no one I knew.
"Hey, you're on private property!" I called out, but my voice came in a whisper. What was wrong with me? In a fit of rage, I ran up ahead, and soon saw a figure clad in black. I stopped suddenly, it was a tall boy with messy, thick red hair a few inches long. He wore a black pea coat, and the silver buttons shone in the faint, useless light. "Hey." I uttered, even more silent than before.
"You must be mistaken," the boy said clearly, with a faint accent I could not put my finger on. "this is my family's land, perhaps you have wandered farther than you realize." He smiled.
"I know these woods like the back of my hand, and this is MY yard you're in." He stepped closer to me, until we were no more than a foot apart. He leaned close until I could feel his moist breath on my cheek. "If you catch me I'll leave."
And with that, he took off running.
Shocked, I ran after him. What else could I do? My parka swished around me, my nose and ears grew cold, and lungs soon burned. I caught brief glances of the boy, always just out of view. The woods thickened, until I could go no faster than a walk. Then I saw him, red hair flaming, out of the corner of my eye. He was behind a tree, positioned so that most people would have walked within inches of him and never percieve his presence. But I saw him right away, and quickly had him cornered between my body and the rough bark. His heavily-lashed eyes widened with shock, and his pink lips parted ever-so-slightly. I prepared for his dash left or right, but he made no sudden movements. Instead, he slowly leaned closer to me, until out bodies were barely touching, and enfolded me in his gaze. "You've caught me."
My arms snaked around him, and his hands closed over my small waist. We were both breathing hard from the run. He pressed his warm mouth against my throat and I wondered if he could feel my pulse. We began to grind our hips together, as he removed my parka a kissed down my chest. I unbuttoned his peacoat. Neither of us felt the cold. To my suprise, he wore nothing beneath the coat.
He slid his hands down me until he reached my hips, and then he led my body downward until we were kneeling on the floor of the woods. By now, I could feel my heart beating franticly and I knew what it wanted. I licked his adam's apple before bringing my tongue down to his nipples. He was unfastening my jeans with steady hands. I was pulling him towards me, craving the bulge I saw growing in his pants. He freed me from my pants and ran his fingers through my hair. "You're so beautiful," he said in a hushed tone.
A thousand thoughts and colors were racing through my mind, unimagined. I inhaled the clean, crisp air around us as he slid himself inside of me. We fell back against the forest floor, his hard erection reaching further and further each time, hitting me in all the right places. I cried out; no one could possibly hear us. He was silent, a trickle of sweat running down his forehead, over the red eyebrows. A faint moan escaped his lips as he reached a climax, and the shot of his juices into my body caused me to come also. We lay in the leaves, arms faintly clutching one another, clothes scattered, sun not yet risen. This is perfect. I wished real life were like this. I shut my eyes and stretched my arms out, brushing against a rough tree trunk in the process.
When they opened, the strange red-haired boy was gone. I sat up suddenly, shocked and bewildered. I quickly regained my clothes and slid them back over my body. I tied my Docs, which had been kicked off in my moment of passion. Then I began to walk towards home. Somehow I knew I wouldn't see that boy ever again.
I slid open the glass door and stepped inside. Then I snuck upstairs to my room, careful not to step on the creaky step. I gingerly clicked my door shut and slid my shoes off. I was just pulling the parka over my head when...
"Hey Taylor" my brother Ike called from the top bunk. "What are you doing up so early?" He blinked and rubbed his eyes before checking his watch.
"Go back to bed; I was just out walking." I replied, sliding between the sheets of the bottom bunk. Exhausted, I fell asleep quickly.
