Jen's Theoretical Ideas and Relations

Jen's Thoughts....

ON CELL PHONES:
Cellphones are like condoms....when you have one, the chances of someone reaching you are 99.99% effective. Yet, sometimes. the condom breaks. This is why we have things called VOICEMAIL! USE IT!

ON COLESLAW:
Alright...here goes. First of all, why is it called Coleslaw? I mean, can you SLAW anything but cole??? Honestly....When asked this question, my friend Grace looked it up in a dictionary which said that COLE means Cabbage and Slaw is Salad....therefore by laws of analogies, carrot salad, becomes carrot slaw, and regular salads...are they just slaw? Also, COLESLAW is called Creamed Cabbage. Well, then, once again consulting the laws of analogies, Creamed Cabbage is to Coleslaw as Creamed Corn is to Cornslaw???? Hmmm... Think about it!!!!!

ON MOSH PITS:
Life is like a mosh pit. The people in the back never really enjoy the concert as much as the people who fight their way to the front. The people in the back say they dont' want to get hurt and stuff, but you're never going to get anywhere if you're afraid to get hurt. Meanwhile, there are two types of people making their way to the front; making the best of the concert. The ones that crowd surf, and the ones that fight through. Either way, whether they get lucky, or they fight their way through, they're having a better time than those idleing in the back.

ON -NESS
If you attach the suffix of -ness to anything, it becomes an adnoun. It is this because its describing it and naming the noun. Don't ask questions. An example of it as an Adnoun. "Dude, that is just nasty, discustingness!" An example of it as a noun. "Dude, that is just nasty, discusting....ness!". Any questions? Consult me later.

ON "Well Ya See...It was like this.."
When ever you have a story that begins with the phrase 'Well ya see...It was like this" it emits the total feeling of forbosion (yes that IS a word...Look it up). It is used usually when you are making up an excuse or trying to cover your ass for something bad that you did, or some kind of trauma story that went wrong.

ON LOVE
Ok right...So Love is a Game. And I'd rather be in the game and get beat around and fucked up than watch from the sides and wonder if I were in the place if I could or would do better...because if I were IN the game, I kno I'd be experiencing, but if I were on the side, I kno I'd only be hoping and dreaming.

ON FRIENDSHIP
In a lifetime, there ware many kinds of people. The ones that pass through, the kind that stick around, and the ones that stay just long enough to shake everything around a bit. The ones who pass through are the ones who leave the fastest, the ones who stay are the ones you take for granted and the ones who shake it up are the ones who you always wish would go away. That is, until they do.The ones that leave us behind are the ones we remember most and with the fondest thought. They get in, get under your skin, do a little damage, repair it, then leave. Those people are the ones you learn things from. I’ve found you learn the most from people who never intend to teach you anything. And sometimes, the best things do come in small packages, unlabeled, and for that matter, beaten up and broken.
