I spent 5 great years in the British Royal Navy, between 1975 and 1980. During that time, my hobby was photography, and I took hundreds of slides through out my travels. Seeing as its unlikely you are going to be able to spend the time here at my house looking at them, I thought I'd put some of the best ones here !

CONTENTS :-

	HMS FIFE A County Class Destroyer, there were several of these, (HMS KENT, HMS LONDON, HMS DEVONSHIRE, HMS GLAMORGAN) but they have all now been scrapped
	HMS FIFE AT SEA Photo's of, or from my ship at sea !
	SCOTLAND At one point I had a year in Scotland at HMS CALEDONIA, this is a shore base near Rosyth. These photo's are mainly in the Dunfermline area.
	AMERICA What can I say !!, Every one should go to the States at least once...... luckily I got to go twice !!.
	THE BAHAMAS HMS FIFE berthed at FREEPORT. A great Island that holds many happy memories
	BARBADOS We only went here to collect provisions for the island of Dominica. Days earlier Hurricane David had sweapt through the Caribbean, and we were sent to Dominica to offer assistance as they were badly affected by it.
	PUERTO RICO This was an interesting place to visit. The best thing about here were the cheap Levis jeans at the US Military base
	BERMUDA We berthed at Ireland Island in the west.
	HOLLAND We spent our time in the very liberal city of Amsterdam
	PORTUGAL This just has to be the cheapest place I have ever been !
	GERMANY I went to Kiel on my previous ship, these photos are in a "very cold Hamburg
	DENMARK Arhuss and Arlberg , were visited by HMS FIFE in seperate years
	GIBRALTAR A little bit of Britain in the Mediteranean !
