– Rescued the Empire Treasure after she lost her propeller.Towed her over
1900 nm in gale force winds. Survived the war. (322) SAMSONIA
– Rescued an abandoned liberty ship, chronicled in the book The Serpent’s
Coil. Also conducted the longest ever submarine tow, when it towed HMS
Turpin 5200 nm from Jamaica to Portsmouth in 29 days. Survived the war.

– Driven ashore whilst attempting to save tow in 1944. Irreparably damaged (335) MEDIATOR

– Survived the war. Modified for North Sea oil rig protection. Sunk after
collision with Plainsman in Firth of Forth 1976, subsequently raised
