Burnt out Inferno.

Eye of the Rager

Another beautiful day in sunny Los Angeles, California. Internet Championship Wrestling World Champion Rage looks to be in good spirits after a hard fought battle against Max Powers at Escape From Reason. Now, the emerging one has the oppurtunity to face a blast from the past...and just a man who always seems to be in the Internet Championship Wrestling spotlight...Pyro. Rage is in his living room, sipping on some Coca-Cola. Rage looks meticulously with his stables and World title on his left and right shoulders respectively. Rage stares at the wall in front of him, then all of a sudden his head makes a concise left turn and Rage's eyes are directly looking at the lens, almost as if he has been practicing that exact motion perfectly.

Rage: It's another live Internet Championship Wrestling event, and the World Champion hasn't had any competition in over a month. Ever since I have won the World Title, I have been taking out competition after more competition...and am continuing to dominate this so called Championship Wrestling federation. Friday Night Riot eh? Wasting no time whatsoever to get me back in the ring, and sore again. This Riot, I am taking on a familiar face. This particular man is a familiar face to not just me, and not just every wrestler in the back, but every person on God's green Earth. The legend of Internet Championship Wrestling, Pyro, and I will battle it up for the umpteenth time. Pyro and I have had two huge one on one battles in the past. The first took place the Friday after Crossfire, which would be making its anniversery quite soon. Pyro and I battled it out for the vacant World Title from Joe Max's death. Your looking at the World Champion after that night right here, for it was me who overcame hate from Internet Championship Wrestling as a whole, and still became the World Champion in a three month time frame. One year later, very much where we are today, I have picked up where I have left off...and am dominating like I did in my hayday. I defeated Pyro on that October eve via his very own finisher, the Inferno. The match itself was nothing special, and just a formality to what would e Internet Championship Wrestling's first raging period. Now after my last three world title matches, and being sucessful in all three...I look to defend nothing but pride against the man who built this company from the ground up. Pyro, I look in to your wrinkled eyes and see nothing more then the shadows of a man who once was great. Now? Now, I see a tall freak who is being tied to a rope and being dragged by a big truck. For those who cant understand simple metaphors, the truck is Internet Championship Wrestling...and Pyro being dragged symbolizes his career. This Friday Night, the man who is the symbol of Internet Championship Wrestling will lock up with the man who carries Internet Championship Wrestling as we speak. A future hall of famer against the most recognizable one, the former six time world champion versus the current reigning one, young vs old, talented versus battered, smart versus Pyro, and greatness versus the inferno driven geezer. However you want to look at this match is perfectly fine with me. You can take it up your ass, and shove all your other recent losses up there as well, or you can make a match of it. Pyro, you have held that Intercontienental Championship for quite some time, but have only one decent defense under your belt (not to mention its the friggen Intercontiental Championship). The fact that you hold that belt, and I hold this one...really says it all. For me Pyro, I am a capable of absolutley anything...starting with winning back to back pay per view main events. People have been comming up to me in past few days and are asking me "how does it feel to be facing Pyro?". Facing Pyro has lost all honor, and hasn't had any honor for quite some time now. Riot this Friday Night, will not be a match to go on either of our highlight reels...it will be just like any other night for me in the past two months or so...a win for me and a loss for my opponent.

Rage: Who will Wrestle Rage at WrestleRage? The answer was clear for the time being as Pyro accomplished that feat in April earlier this year. However, if you want to call it a wrestling match...you can. I view that match at WrestleRage three as nothing more then me beating down the legend at the same pay per view that once upon a time made him the big name he is today. WrestleRage was a joke, he didnt get moves in edgewise...and I wasn't going to let his ass intefere with my records, my legacy, and my history. Pyro and I at this point in our relationship have no hatred, no envy, no scruples, and nothing to make this match evolve in to a heated one. You can really only look at a few things that seperate us as individuals and nothing more. I am the current Internet Championship Wrestling World Heavyweight Champion, and Pyro is the most recoginzable wrestler in the world past, present, and for a while...future. The two personalties and accolades we have aquired over our wrestling careers match us up perfectly for a battle, heck a rivalry could be made out of this so the two of us could main event a pay per view. The only problem with that, is the fact that Pyro is no match for me. As Max Powers, Patrick Webster, and Big AL Stud have proven themselves worthless...Pyro is much more then them. Pyro has had less steam and confidence since losing three World Title matches about this very time last year. As we see ourselves peering into 2003 in just a few months, 2002 will be forgotten...and the farther and farther we enter the depths of time, the more we will forget the wrestlers who meant so much to us in the day of yore i.e Pyro. Right now I am the best thing going for this federation, and because of so...I will endure the pain of fighting off legend after legend. I didnt sign a contract with Internet Championship Wrestling to disapear after only a few months or days for that matter. I have been a part of Internet Championship Wrestling to be just what I promised I would be from day one...the greatest. I am far from seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, but when I do...it will be realized not just by me, but by all.

Rage: Pyro you and me in the ring tonight, not for the first time either. You know what I am capable of, and likewise. You have the oppurtunity to requench your career with a one on one main event victory over the World Champion. Sure, a victory wouldnt give you the World Title...but it would in fact give you the chance to slowly crawl up the ladder to sucess. When you do Pyro, I will be there to meet you with open arms. And when you are wrestling me with the title being on the line...the same arms that opened up to you will smash you to a bloody pulp. I didnt get to the top by being a nice guy, I didnt get to the top by sleeping my way arround, I didnt get to the top by any other means other then winning. Winning is what gets you places here in Internet Championship Wrestling , and my career is a visible point of just that cvery statement. In order for you to acheive great things in the future Pyro, you are going to need to win. Performing pathetic displays of worn out legendary ways, won't get you any farther then getting a non title match against me by a fluke. But everyone knows Pyro...you want to be the World Champion again, it would make for some very emotional times in Internet Championship Wrestling ...and it could possibly be the greatest World Title win in this company's history. All you really need is a sad World Champion to job you the title. I wont do that, I have come to far to be a victim of petty nostalgia. Just bring your flaming carcass, or whatever you call your body, to the ring so I can give in a nice whooping. Maybe you will learn for future times that you cant compete at the level which you once did, and more importantly the level that I currently am. For Pyro, Internet Championship Wrestling has be come a deselate atmosphere and place over the last few months. Why? Standard and ultimate domination by myself, and the fact remains that I own you on a leash. The only one thing certain in Internet Championship Wrestling today is that no matter how hard my opponents try and defeat me..THE RAGE WILL EMERGE.

Rage turns his hed sharply once more, and he is back to the television. Rage better hurry up and get into his jet and to the arena, where he will be defending not the title...but his repuation against none other then the man whose reputation is being draged clear across the sport of professional wrestling. Who knows? Anything can happen, and anything usually does.
