The following assignment is for assessment which will appear in your reports.
Part One
Draw up a survey form that will obtain the following information from 10 individuals.
Demographic information:
Age: a rough indicator of age group. (people do not like to tell you their exact age)
Place of residence: ( where do people live in your sample)
Household in which they live: (married, in partnership, living with parents)
Net worth: ( do not ask people how much they earn but rather find their earning potential and debt potential)
Occupation
Credit cards
Mortgages
Store accounts
Savings
Attitudes towards saving:
Are people saving
If they are saving what is their purpose of saving? See notes on reasons for saving)
Awareness of aging population
Are people making any special provision for retirement.
Do they intend to make provision at a later stage.
Do they know what the aging population means?
Part Two
Collect the information and present it using graphs and tables.
Part Three:
Present your findings in report format.
