HISTORY:

BludRedd, before his infestation, was an ancient Protoss mystic, living in seclusion, deep inside the planet Mar Sara. He, as a High Templar, had been exiled from Aiur, due to the political works of Lord Union, the two of whom were bitter rivals.

On Mar Sara, the Fenris Brood, under the Overmind's orders, were sent to eradicate the Terran encampment when they stumbled across BludRedd's temple. Sneaking past his defenses with a lowly drone, the Overmind was able to subdue him mentally, leaving the drone to encase him in a crystalis.

The Protoss, having troubles of their own, attempted with all their might to retrieve him, but to no avail, especially when the shaken Jormungand Brood arrived, distraught over the death of the Overmind. It was at this point that BludRedd awoke, and seeing Nargil and Araq in states of confusion, assumed the role of Overmind for the two collective Broods, renaming them the Behemoth!

Now, he strives to complete to the Overmind's plan(revealed to him in the crystalis) and unite the two races to become the Xel'Naga Reborn, a race with both purity of form AND purity of essence. And he crush ANYONE that gets in his way.... EVEN the Queen of Blades...
