You cant cut the tension with a knife with another big ICW Pay Per View comming. You look at the card and three matches really stick out. These matches showcase the three biggest belts in the world, with the six top stars assorted through them. Which of these matches is the best? Perhaps its the one with two hall of famers...one of which is about to cut a promo. The camera then fades into the Pepsi Arena in Denver CO, but more importantly into the locker room of the challenger for the Intercontinental Title at High Stakes. This is the locker room of Big Al Stud. Stud is sitting down in his room gazing into the TV. Stud seems physically and metnally prepared for his first Pay Per View since comming back from injury. Stud starts flipping through the channels till he gets to the Spiker Channel and notices his puzzled face on it. He then looks over and sees the camera and decides, its time to do my promo...
Big Al Stud:
High Stakes...Max Powers, two very differant things. First of all one is a pay per view, and one is a wrestler. Obviously that is a huge differance. But you look at something that I look at alot, and that is the history. You look at my history with High Stakes and what do you see? None! I have never EVER wrestled in a High Stakes Pay Per View. This is my virgin time! at the past two High Stakes I was sidelined with injuries suffered thanks to Reaper, and my former friends the Main Event. But this time I am going to make a huge debut at High Stakes and walk out with the Intercontental Title, which will not be the first time for me in that category...but thats a whole differant story. But the differance between High Stakes and Max Powers is that Max and I have history to spare. I am not going to say that I have more history with Max than I do any other ICW wrestler, for that would be a lie...but he has got to be up there as far as quanity of history would go. So lets get to it Max.
Big Al Stud:
If anyone is watching ICW television, they have truly got to know about a little stable that completely took over the ranks of ICW and dominated more than once, the entire federation. This stable was known obviously as the Main Event. What did this stable have that no other stable had going, maybe it was the greatest group of atheletes and all the top stars at once...or maybe it was the duo of Big Al Stud and Max Powers. Though Max and I never had a tag team title reign or anything of the sort, we were obviously a great duo. We were with out a doubt the cornerstones of the Main Event, as we reached our prime and carried the stable if anyone else lagged. But like all great people, and great things...Main Event, and more specifically the bond between myself and Max Powers had to die...and die a horrible bloody death it did. It came down to WrestleRage, when I realized the people loved me. I was the most popular wrestler around in ICW, and my Viewer's Choice award proved it, but the stable was really holding me back. So I waited till I could get all the attention, in the main event...when everyone's eyes were glued to their tv sets and everyone was waiting for the biggest star...the biggest name in ICW, Big Al Stud to make some impact. So I came out and cost Max Powers the title, as many people see it. but what I did was piss off the former champion, and the current champion...thus making me horrid enemies with the champion and a man many consider the number one contender. Catipulting me into the Mind Games main Event! The triple threat match took place and Max Powers pinned El Oso cheaply, instead of pinning me...because try as he might, he just could not pin me...I am the better man. So a couple weeks later we had our second ever one on one match, me being the winner of the first one. So this second match became the biggest TNEF or FNR match of the year pitting Max Powers against Big Al Stud for the World Title, and when Max didnt have that shitty variable El Oso to beat, he couldnt get the job done, just like he wont be able to come tonight when he tries again to pin me. Max, you just cant beat me, and you helped start one of the best world title reigns ever when I ebat you and held the title 50 plus days defending agsinst a couple of legends on the way to the third and now fourth best reign ever. I beat you again max and you drifted out of the title pictures in ICW, until I left. I got hurt and you felt it was safe from me pummeling you again so you hopped back into the picture on won yourself the Intercontinental Title. Little did you know that right down the road would be your ever constant road block...the man who you simply can not beat. You have tried, god knows you've tried many times...but you just can't pin me for a win. I can pin you and its happened on more than one documented and nationally televised occasions, but this time it is going to happen on a world wide pay per view production...just hours away!
Big Al Stud:
Earlier on in the week Max thought that he could just waltz on out here in front of all of my people, the people that I put into those seets and just show off and flaunt his shit like he is some god of wrestling. Well Max, you know me, and you know how much I love to respond to the promos of other wrestlers. Max thinks that this match is not about titles, well perhaps to him it really isnt all about titles. But does he even know who he is talking to? I am Big Al Stud, and this is a match for the gold. Max, I think you know me well enough to know that in my career and the way I act in Internet Championship Wrestling...it really is all about the titles. Its all about the gold and money here in ICW, and thats why I have thrived. Ive got money and gold, just not currently. its a rare day when you can see Big Al Stud without any gold around his waste, and tonight those rare days will end when I pin you and bring home the Intercontinental Title for the third time. I mean look at the other IC champs I've beat. All people who were thought to be just unbeatable. Jade Shocker, he had won some eleven or twelve straight matches and everyone 'knew' that he could beat Big Al Stud with no porblem. Then came that roadblock that I have become for egotistical champions like yourself. I beat Jade Shocker obviously, even if the title might not have meant all that much to either of us. Then there was a 'beast' who was virtually thought of as being flat out unbeatable. I talked to Mr. S about giving me a shot at him, and S didnt want me to have that shot. Was that because he was afraid that Savage was going to hurt his prized Big Al Stud? God no that wasn't his reason. The reason was all the money and the hype being poured into Savage, and I ebat Savage. What happened to Savage...he is no where to be seen, and he never will be again. Neither of those guys are still around, but Max I have a question for you, after I beat you the ever so hyped IC champion are you still going to be around? I think I know you well enough that you can make it through the rocky times, and you will be around just as long as I will. But back to the real subject, it being about the titles. With me, like I just said, it is all about this title. Not only will this be my third great reign with the IC title putting me second on the all time list with IC Title reigns, I will also become the first person ever to hold three non-stable titles three times. No one else can say honestly that they have accomplished that. Not only will it give me that little known stat, but it will also give me my 25th total title reign in ICW, just one shy of Pyro in the all time lists. Max, you were sadly mistaken when you said it was not about the title at all. Its a fine mixture of personal problems and the want for the gold if you ask me.
Big Al Stud:
Max was also damn near crying because I have been on top of ICW since my first world title reign and he has drifted all around through the ranks and cry and bitch and moan Max, that doesnt make you any better. I have been at the top because I am the most technically sounds grappler here and I have worked my ass of for longer than you have. And speaking of asses, whats with you and that new stable? The Answer to Society's Suffering, what the shit is that? Is that just some cheap HATE rip off or what? But with a name like ASS, you expect some crappy Gerard-esq jokes about liking guys asses and such, but this is not a Gerard roleplay, so there will be none of that. Just imagine some if you please...but back to your new little stable Max. Do you really think that is actually a good stable? Do you think that is going to fill the void left when Main Event became defunct for the last time? No way. Your stable is only you, Pyro, El Oso, and Chris Madison. I mean sure it has some major elements in a stable like legends with leadership, the world champ, and an up and comming major prospect. It might have those elements, but what about the hatred. No one likes Pyro, including you. Look at the series of matches you guys have had since like last January. And El Oso, you can get mad about me taking the World Title from you, but he took it from you also. And who knows about Chris Madison, he is always al bloody...another dime a dozen hardcore maniac. But Max, you and I are differant. We are not a dime a dozen. We are the few, the select, the seldom, the rare in ICW. We are guys who can go down to the ring and just out wrestle people. We aren't about striking fear into the hearts of men, or having fancy nicknames announced by Howard Stinkle...we just come down to the ring and embarass the other wrestlers who try to out mat wresle us. You are a great and sound wrestler, but you know you can't quite out wrestle me, as you have tried on two seperate occasions. But just as that goes, I know if this becomes a toe to toe brawl, there is not going to be any length to this match, because you will kill me. Thats the suprise that is going to come out tonight. I am going to take away your precious little Intercontinental Title if for no other reason, than just because you apparently don't care for it, or respect it. Max, I'll see you in the ring!
Big Al Stud looks away frm the camera and starts limbering up for his big title shot at high stakes, his comeback PPV. As Stud's tv fades, so does the screen...
