Transitions

The ICW camera fades into a place long gone but never forgotten. It seems somewhat familiar to most people, and the filth of the room immediately gives it away to the rest. This is the locker room of one of the most explosive wrestler's in ICW's history...Big Al Stud. The camera keeps panning around the room and then the sound of a doorknob is heard as if on cue. Big Al Stud then is seen entering the room with his wrestling attire on. Stud walks into the room and takes a gander, noticing almost immediately, and rightfully so, the camera crew in his dressing room. Stud sees the camera and gives it a little smile as the crowd at the house show erupts for the winner of ICW's most recent Viewers Choice Award. Stud looks dead into the camera with a gaze of seriousness and begins to speak about his upcomming battle with ICW's biggest name ever...Pyro

Big Al Stud: Well it looks like just two matches into my comeback ICW has remembered me from my glory days. After the first match it was really unknown what kind of impact the impact icon could make upon his return...so that lead Mr. D to booking me against his thug Sean Cage. I might have looked a little rusty not only in my promo, but in the ring...but I got the job done. Sean Cage obviously must have informed Mr. D that I still 'have it.' So already I am main eventing again. I am facing Pyro for the well over tenth time through both of our illustrious careers. We have some things in common, like our vast quanity of reigns. Now many people might not know it, but I alsop have quality reigns, like many tag reigns, and also my most recent World Title reign just to name a few. We also have many things that aren't anywhere near similar. There is the fact that I am younger than pyro, but thats obvious. Another obvious one is the differances in our fighting styles. Pyro is a big man, and obviously outpowers the smaller opponents like myself, as many have seen in the past. But me, I'm not the biggest dog in the fight, and through technical wrestling ability, and shear will to never give up, I am able to not just survive, but thrive. But those things are obvious, and they are the things that any person is going to focus on. Looking through the record books, and at me, you can tell that I am not just any person. I am better than many, and differant from all, so I am going to focus on something else we both have in common. Pyro and I are both going through periods of transition in our wrestling career, and many transitions are involved. Let me explain.

Big Al Stud: First lets start with the man who I am facing, Pyro. Pyro has made many transitions throughout his career, mostly because of the longevity of it. We look at Pyro early in his career and he was just a nobody. He went up to the very peak of ICW all time, with his one hundred and some odd day reign. A reign often challenged, but never really tested. Pyro was at the top of ICW after a great transition of being less than mediocre. He was on top, but obviously when someone is on top, there is only one place to go...and that was down for Pyro. Pyro then made the unfavorable transition from atop ICW to down through the upper mid card, down to the mid and even lower mid card. When I was on top of ICW, holding the world title and beating everyone who stepped in my way, Pyro was the man who got mid card matches because of his name's sake, and lost to curtain jerkers who likely aren't even around anymore. Then when my stay on top of ICW started to lessen, Pyro was just grasping onto what may be his last run. Pyro started a transition from losing to winning while I was just going down from my peak. While I was away, Pyro was running rampid through the midcard, leavng havok in his trails. I got back and Pyro dominated the Intercontinental Division for over one hundred days! Now he starts another transition. He had his transition to winning again, and now he is moving back up the ranks. Starting a transition he had years ago when he made his way to the top of ICW. How did he do that back then? Was it by winning? Yes, and he has that part under his belt. Was it by making the right enemies? Yes, he and the world champ don't exactly see eye to eye. Pyro has got all the tools and momentum to make a real streak to the top of the charts so to speak in Internet Championship Wrestling. This may be just a transition period for Pyro, but he has been there before and he knows something many people don't. He knows how to win, and he knows what it feels like to win. He loves winning and he wants to win tonight, but there is a good chance that just won't be the way it all unfolds.

Big Al Stud: But as I said, going through transition periods is what both Pyro and I are doing. My transition period is one that I am very familiar with through my career. The transition from being an unactive wrestler from injury, to being an active main eventer in ICW again. If you look about ten months ago at Desperate Measures I had my comeback Pay Per View from an injury I had. Who did I face at that pay per view, making the transition from injury to proving myself once again? I faced Pyro. Now I am starting the transition all over again and tonight who am I facing again? Pyro. I beat Pyro last time, but its not a history promo, I am talking about transition periods that both Pyro and I are going through. Transitions are really what bettering yourself in ICW is all about. If you cant get from the mid card to the upper card, then you aren't going to really make a great name for yourself. You won't make it in the Hall of Fame, nor will you ever win big titles. That is the one Pyro is trying to do right now, but you can't really tell which side hes going to be on. Is he still in the mid card side where he was beating people like Chris Madison, and losing to people like Max Powers? Or is this the Pyro that held both the World, US, and IC Titles for well over 100 days? Just like Pyro's level is a major variable, so is mine. It hasn't taken long in my previous comebacks to make my way back into the mainstream and win major titles. Is just two weeks enough time to prove myself the elite wrestler in ICW again? Am I still going to show some ring rust like I did against Sean Cage? Will this be the Big Al Stud that beat Reaper in a real classic match? Is this the Stud that beat Webster for the title after that? Or is this the Stud that was sitting at home unable to compete for the past two months? All these questions are going to get answered tonight. How Pyro's transition to the upper card again is going, and how my transition from the inactive life is. This main event match might not seem so big because its non title, but when you look at the unknown title matches at the Pay Per View, anything can really happen. This match is really a very important match, especially when you throw in the variables like Powers, Oso, Rage, and Gerard. Between the unknown Pay Per View matches, and the unknowns going into this match...who knows what is going to happen...

Stud then stops talking and just looks into the camera as it fades to black...
