The scene fades in to a full arena and an empty ring and the old NWA theme begins to play.
The fans start to cheer and an explosion of pyrotechnics takes place from around the ring.
The smoke clears and Bossman by Lucky Boys Confusion starts to play.
The camera pans to the entrance ramp and the man who purchased the NWA comes down the entrance ramp.
Alex Clauson is this man, who wears a nice new suit, and also wears Trish Stratus on one arm, in the other arm is a fancy looking briefcase that is likely carrying no documents in it.
Alex finally gets to the ring and Trish holds the ropes open for him as he gets in.
He walks around the ring for a brief while, and then begins to speak into the microphone he brought to the ring with him.
Alex Clauson: Thank you for that warm ovation ladies and gentlemen, and I have one thing to say to you all, the National Wrestling Alliance is back! Are you tired of lame gimmicks and poor wrestling on tv? Well you must be, because you are here in the seats to watch wrestling go back to its glory days, and with your help…I am the man who is going to take it there. With great people like Ric Flair and Ricky Steamboat who led the way many moons ago, we now have the likes of Chris Jericho and Lance Storm to pave the way for an even younger generation. Today is the first day, and a truly great day…the biggest day ever in the National Wrestling Alliance’s long history.
The crowd cheers and Alex walks around the ring a little bit.
He gets back to the middle and begins to talk again…
Alex Clauson: The first order of business that I would like to address is our vacant world title. Like I said, the NWA has had some great world champions in the past, and as long as I am in charge, that is not going to change. NWA will be home of the best world champion once again, and I do mean world champion. We have the greatest workers from around the world gathered here. But what I really want to say, is that in order to have the best world champion, we have got to make that man prove himself. I am officially announcing that tonight is the start of something big…the start of an eight man tournament for the vacant NWA world champion. The man who wins this tourney has got to prove himself many times to be the best man in the business. Now for the participants in the tournament…
Alex opens the brief case, and low and behold, there actually is a few papers in it, under the McDonalds happy meal toys.
Alex pulls out a piece of paper that appears to have a tournament bracket drawn in crayon, and begins reading from it.
Alex Clauson: The first man to enter the tournament will be…THE ROCK!
The crowd gives a huge pop for arguably the biggest name in the industry. Eventually they quiet down and Alex begins listing the rest of the people.
Alex Clauson: You think that’s big, we have seven more to go, so if you would please hold the applause to the end, that would be grand. Next we have Lance Storm! The third man is Christian! Our fourth participant is William Regal. We are half way done and the suspense is really building. The fifth man is a former NWA World Champion himself…’The Nature Boy’ Ric Flair! Next is another former NWA World Champion, ‘The World’s Most Dangerous Man’ Ken Shamrock! The seventh man in the World Title tournament is Chris Candido! And now for the eight man in the tournament, we have thirty people in back, and all of you around the world on the edge of their seats…and only I know who it is…
The countdown appears on the big screen and then a huge explosion takes place.
After the dust settles Chris Jericho is standing in the entrance way with a microphone in his hand…
Chris Jericho: Listen here junior…you are not the only one here who knows who the elite eight man. I know, and all these Jericho-hollics know that I am your eight man, but when it all comes down, I am going to be the number one man in the federation when I beat three other has beens and become the first ever new NWA World Champion!
The crowd cheers for the Living Legend, and he leaves the entrance ramp just as quickly as he appeared.
Alex Clauson: Well there you have it, Chris Jericho is in fact going to be that eight man in the tournament. But don’t just think that we are all going to have to wait until a few Sundays from now at the PPV to find out all of our champions. We are going t find out who the new NWA TV Champion is right here tonight in an epic ten man battle royal for the prestigious title. The ten men in this match are going to be, The Hurricane, Juventud Guerrera, Yoshiro Tajiri, Little Guido, Jamie Noble, AJ Styles, ‘The Fallen Angel’ Chris Daniels, Nova, Scotty 2 Hotty, and Air Paris! Thank you and lets start with the great world title tournament in a matter of moments.

NWA Programming comes back from a quick commercial break and the announcers Mike Tenay and Mark Madden have made their way down to ringside.
Tenay informs us that the next match is going to be in the world title tourney with William Regal against The Rock…
The camera then heads to the back where William Regal is standing in the regular interview room, a black room with the NWA Logo behind him.
William Regal: Well Rock, here we have made it to the bloody
National Wrestling Alliance. Already
this great federation has left the bigotry at home about me being from
The camera then shows the Rock in his own personal locker room with his back to the camera.
The rock turns around and begins his little promo…
The Rock: Finally, the Rock has come back…to

People’s Elbow combination
(Regal hit many stiff
uppercuts to the Rock, but the rock blocked and over hand blow, and countered
with the Rock Bottom at the end. After
the match, Rocky celebrated and the fans loved it.)
Backstage Lance Storm and Christian are walking around the arena.
They stop at the new President’s room and walk in.
Alex is talking to Trish Stratus, but looks up when two of his superstars come walking into his room, and they begin talking.
Alex Clauson: Can I help you boys with something, I am a very busy man running this company from the ground up and all.
Christian: That is exactly what we came here for. We wanted to congratulate you on purchasing this fine company and picking us to bring you to the top.
Lance Storm: Yeah, this World Title tournament is a great idea also. I know Christian and I are both going to go far, heck we might even meet in the finals, but there is a question we have for you…
Alex Clauson: Ask away.
Lance Storm: You said that we would have two first round matches tonight, and we have already had one. Well, we just wanted to know what the other match was going to be…
Alex Clauson: Oh god, I almost forgot about that match, thank you both for reminding me. Matter of fact, I even forgot to inform the two combatants that they are even wrestling tonight!
Christian: We can go tell them right now if you just give us the word boss…
Alex Clauson: That won’t be necessary, I can handle that just fine. Lance, Christian…you guys are next.
Lance Storm: You didn’t inform us of any match, who are we facing?
Alex Clauson: Each other! In the second tournament match of the night! Sorry its such short notice.
Christian and Lance Storm look in shock at each other and exit the office bickering amongst each other.

(Match started with
some stiff punches and kicks. Christian
got the upper hand with a good series of submission moves. He went for a snap suplex,
but storm countered it with a power plex. Christian got back to his feet and turned
right into a hard super kick and a three count.)
Backstage Alex Clauson is sitting in his office alone.
Trish walks in and hands him an envelope and says something about it being very urgent.
Alex opens up the envelope and starts reading to himself.
Alex’s eyes open wide and his jaw drops.
Alex shows the envelope to Trish and the camera fades…

Mike Tenay: I wonder what that envelope said that Alex read. He really looked none to pleased after reading it.
Mark Madden: Hopefully we can get some answers before the night is over, but I really have no clue what it is.
Mike Tenay: Maybe it has something to do with his booking of Lance Storm against Christian, they were not very fond of that match I assume. But lets get to the ring where Sonny Oono and his troops are awaiting their upcoming match.
Sonny Oono: Welcome ladies and gentlemen, it is time to feast your eyes on the greatest tag team ever assembled on this continent. This is the National Wrestling Alliance, a place where legends used to wrestle, but have long since retired. This reincarnation is really lacking something…legends. Rick Flair is not enough, so when Alex approached me with a contract I told him I could bring him legends…now let me introduce to you your future tag team champions…Jushin Lyger and the Great Muta! These guys are calling out any team that thinks they can beat these two true living legends…
Out from the back come Little Guido and big Sal, and they slide into the ring and immediately begin brawling.
Mike Tenay: Looks like we have some challengers.
Mark Madden: This impromptu match could really go a long way in deciding the first tag team champions…
Jushin Lyger/Great Muta (w/ Sonny Oono) vs F.B.I.
Winner: Lyger/Muta via pinfall
Sonny Oono distracted the referee and then Yuji Nagata came down
to the ring and attacked Guido. Lyger then covered Guido for the victory.
Mike Tenay: Looks like Oono’s troops are getting stronger and stronger, as he now has three great Japanese talents with him in the ring. I’m sorry but we have got to go to a commercial break now, Alex Clauson is heard to be making his way to the ring with a big announcement.
Mark Madden: I bet we can figure out everything about the envelope now!

The show comes back on and the same old NWA song that Alex Clauson came out to earlier plays.
But down the entrance ramp comes Jerry Jarrett and he makes his way down to the ring.
Mark Madden: What the hell is this? I thought Alex Clauson was coming down to the ring.
Jerry Jarrett: Ladies and gentlemen, there is something of great significance that I need to address right here right now, and it is something I think that all of you need to hear. This will indeed impact the new NWA to all extremities! Alex Clauson earlier came out and claimed that he was the new and rightful owner of the National Wrestling Alliance, but don’t believe a word that he says, because I am still the owner. There is nothing that punk can do, because I did not sell him my part of the com…
Bossman by Lucky Boys Confusion plays and Alex Clauson appears at the top of the ramp with Trish Stratus.
Alex Clauson: Oh Jerry, you have done it now. I purchased this federation that you had down in the slums, and you cant accept it. I signed all these big names and I am going to bring the NWA back on top again. There is not a damn thing you can do about it, every document says I am the owner of this federation, and if you think you can somehow do something about it, then you need to come into my office, and settle it like a big boy. Now get your ass out of my ring!
Alex leaves the arena and Jerry Jarrett follows shortly behind him, with police escorting him.
Mike Tenay: What does he mean he never sold his part of the company? Is Jerry Jarrett a partial owner of the NWA?
Mark Madden: Hey, interview boy…maybe you should go down to prison and ask him!
Backstage Alex is seen walking into his office.
He opens the door and Bobby ‘The Brain’ Heenan is waiting for him.
Alex Clauson: What the shit are you doing in here?
Bobby Heenan: Oh, I have a little business proposition for you. It looks like you need to restore order a little bit around here, and you know I am the Brain around here, and I know how you can take out Jerry Jarrett.
Alex Clauson: That is very interesting…
Alex gets up and shuts the door.
Mike Tenay: Coming up next is our big ten man battle royal for the Vacant Television Championship, stick around and maybe we can find out what the weasel has up his sleeve also!

Alex Clauson comes down to the ring carrying the new TV Title, and hands it to Tajiri.
Tajiri holds up the belt and goes to a corner.
He holds the belt up with one arm and shoots out green mist.
Then, Lyger, Muta, and Nagata comes running down from the back.
Lyger grabs Tajiri from the top rope and powerbombs him down hard.
The Great Muta looks around as Tajiri starts to come to, and Muta sprays him in the eyes with green mist!
Nagata then locks Tajiri in the Nagata lock.
Sonny Oono gets into the ring and holds up a microphone.
Sonny Oono: Do you see this Tajiri, you are not a great legend of our country, you are just a sell out! This man right here, the Great Muta…he should have had a shot at the Television Title that you just one, but Alex didn’t give him the chance. Right here, right now Muta is challenging you Tajiri, next week we are going to have a match, and when you come to…I will inform you of the match type. Hahaha!
Bobby Heenan walks down to the back and walks over to where AJ Styles is.
Heenan begins talking to AJ Styles and Styles smiles and nods.
They look up into the ring, and the camera fades…
