Thursday November 15th

The camera shows up in another small arena where MECW is having there second card under the control of the new owner Alex Clauson.

Joel Gertner:  Welcome boys and girls as you see the quenisential stud muffin is back for more exciting MECW action, and my colleague, Todd Petingill has not been fired yet…

Todd Petingill:  Hey, that was uncalled for, I don’t think I did that bad a job last week.

Joel Gertner:  Well you don’t have to hear your raspy voice, and I do.  But back to last week, we saw the first title match in MECW get booked, as well as a grudge match.  MECW first un named PPV is really looking like it may turn out good.

Todd Petingill:  That’s right but I can’t wait to see Lynn get his hands on that scrawny little AVD and ring his neck.  I would mind seeing Tanaka take out Kid Romeo either.

Joel Gertner:  Well maybe with our great president we might not have to wait to the also un dated Pay Per View…but Tanaka won’t be facing Kid Romeo I know that for a fact, cause Romeo is in our first match, now lets get to that first match.

Chris Chetti is waiting in the ring when Smooth Criminal by Alien Ant Farm starts to play.

Romeo then comes out from behind the curtain and poses while the fans boo.

Romeo has a microphone and he begins to talk…

Kid Romeo:  Ladies and Gents, I hope you all love my new theme song just as much as all of the ladies love me.  You see, the song fits me…I’m so smooth, and I should be arrested for all the hearts I have broken over the years…Annie…Marie…Claire…all of them, now my Chetti amour, lets dance.

Joel Gertner:  Oh, he really is smooth.

Todd Petingill:  C’mon give me a break.

Romeo then starts to strut to the ring, and rolls in…but Chetti doesn’t jump him surprisingly enough.

The bell then rings.

Joel Gertner:  Lets get this promising match under way.

Romeo and Chetti grapple in the ring, and Romeo puts him in an arm bar.

Romeo tightens the hold and Chetti looks for the ropes, but they are too far away for him to reach.

Chetti then side kicks Romeo in his stomach.

He then spins around and hits a swinging neck breaker, breaking the arm bar.

Chetti hops up and goes for a jumping leg drop.

Romeo rolls out of the way and hits a front elbow to the head from his knees.

Joel Gertner:  As usual, Kid Romeo has come prepared for this match and is likely to walk away with yet another victory.

Romeo gets to his feet and so does Chetti.

Romeo grabs Chetti and whips him towards the corner.

Chetti rams into the corner and Romeo charges in at him.

Chetti pulls himself up and Romeo runs face first into Chetti’s feet.

Romeo staggers back and Chetti charges in at him.

Romeo grabs Chetti by the head and whips him with his momentum into the other buckle.

Chetti leaps up and onto the top rope and springboards off with a moonsault.

Kid Romeo ducks the moonsault and Chetti lands right on his face and chest.

Todd Petingill:  Looks like Chetti might have just gotten the wind knocked out of him, lets see if Romeo can capitalize.

Joel Gertner:  Of course Romeo can capitalize…after yet another well-scouted move to regain the advantage of the match.

Romeo climbs up to the second rope and dives off with a flying forearm drop to the hurting Chris Chetti.

Romeo gets back up and Chetti starts to get back to his feet.

Romeo goes for a double axe handle blow, but Chetti counters with a quick hook to the stomach.

Romeo hunches over and Chetti hops up to his feet.

Chetti then executes a dropkick to the knee of Kid Romeo.

Romeo falls flat on his face and Chetti follows it up with a half Boston Crab, hooking the leg that he just dropkicked.

Todd Petingill:  Sound offense by Chris Chetti.  He is trying to ground Kid Romeo by taking out his legs.  Lets see if he will stick to this offense and if it proves to be successful.

After a while Chetti releases the hold and rolls Romeo over.

He grabs the same leg again and goes for a figure four-leg lock, motioning like Jeff Jarrett and Ric Flair used to.

As he slaps on the move, Romeo lunges up and rolls Chetti into a small package…1…2…Chetti barely kicks out.

Joel Gertner:  You see that, just when you think you have Kid Romeo right where you want him, he does a great move like that, countering the telegraphed move by Chris Chetti.

Todd Petingill:  You are not mistaking there Joel, as Chetti was barely able to escape that predicament.

Romeo gets up to his feet as does Chetti, but Romeo has a slight limp.

Romeo goes in for the grapple and Chetti stomps on Romeos shin.

Romeo bends over to grab his aching leg, and Chetti raises a knee right to the face of Kid Romeo.

Romeo quickly gets back to a vertical base and grabs Chetti and snap mares him down to the ground, sitting up.

Kid Romeo then lowers a dropkick to the back of the head of Chetti.

Chetti rolls over from the kick and does a summersault.

Kid Romeo then picks Chetti back to his feet.

Todd Petingill:  The end of the match may be near for Chetti if he doesn’t do something quick, cause I think Kid Romeo is going for the last kiss.

Romeo hooks Chetti up for a tiger driver and the fans begin to boo.

Chetti then goes for a back body drop, but Romeo holds on for a sunset flip…1…2…kick out by Chetti again.

Both men are quick to their feet and Chetti goes after Romeo.

Romeo hits a quick kick in the midsection.

He hooks the double under hook and lifts him up and brings him down with the Last Kiss.

Romeo then steps one foot on Chris Chetti…1…2…3

Joel Gertner:  What did I tell you, Kid Romeo is no joke.  What a great finisher.

Todd Petingill:  But that pin?  I don’t like the way that he won the match.

Joel Gertner:  How can you not like the way that he won, a win is a win isn’t it?  Oh no watch out Romeo!!!

Smooth Criminal by AAF plays.

Masato Tanaka has run through the crown and he dives into the ring.

He sneaks up behind Kid Romeo who is taunting Chris Chetti on the outside.

Romeo turns around and Tanaka cracks him in the head with a steel chair.

Romeo holds his ground just wobbling around.

Tanaka then tosses him the chair and then hits the roaring elbow right in the face of Romeo, busting his nose open.

Tanaka picks the chair back and starts nailing Romeo in the back with the chair a good 5 or 10 times.

Security comes out and pulls Tanaka off of Kid Romeo.

Joel Gertner:  Now that’s just not fair!  Kid Romeo was celebrating a hard fought victory and Masato Tanaka had to interrupt, and being the man that he is, he had to use a chair to beat up a wounded Romeo.

Todd Petingill:  Hey “stud”, try to be a little more bias next match, but now we have to gets a few words in for our sponsors.

Joel Gertner:  How dare you call me bias you little…(cut off by commercials)

COMMERCIAL BREAK

Bossman by Lucky Boys confusion plays just as MECW TV comes back from a Wal Mart brand shoes commercial.

The fans give a thunderous sound off boos and hisses for MECW’s president who after just 2 or so hours with the people is one of the most hated men in America.

Alex Clauson then comes down to the ring with Torrie Wilson and Andy Van Dam.

Alex has a mic in his hand and begins to speak

Alex Clauson:  Now, I know you all want me to do what I should do right now…but I am not going to…(asshole chants start)…you see, its just not fair to Jerry Lynn, and I am an honest guy.  What I should do is just give Andy Van Dam the TV Title right now…but I am a fair guy and I am not going to do that.  But lets get down to business, there was someone in MECW who didn’t do what they should have done, and that man is Chris Benoit.  (Huge pop)  Benoit at the end of last weeks show, you didn’t come down to the ring like you were supposed to, and tonight you will get your punishment for that.  Tonight you are going to be in the main event.  Now, that of course in itself is not a great punishment, but you will be facing…Vampiro!!!  Thank you very much

Todd Petingill:  Did you hear that?  Vampiro vs Chris Benoit tonight!!!  That’s like a Pay Per View quality match, but we get it tonight.

Joel Gertner:  No you moron, I didn’t hear it.  Wait, yes I did, because unlike you…I do an adequate job here.

Then, Feel So Numb by Rob Zombie plays and the crowd cheers.

Edge then steps onto the entrance ramp with a microphone.

Edge:  Speaking of fairness, last week in the main event…Jerry Lynn cost me the match.  Now that Mr. Prez is soooooo totally lacking fairness.  You gotta do something about this.  I want you to book me vs Jerry Lynn tonight, and I promise I will take him out.

Alex looks at Edge and smiles.

He then looks over at Andy Van Dam and AVD nods his head.

Alex’s smile gets even bigger and he looks back at Edge.

Alex Clauson:  You sure Edge, since it’s all right with Andy you can beat the hell out of his opponent at the first ever MECW PPV.  And maybe if you play your cards right you can get to know your match at the PPV, and maybe it will be a good match…if you catch my drift.

Feel So Numb then starts to play and Edge turns around.

Then Bossman cuts it off as Alex, Andy and Torrie leave after Edge does.

Joel Gertner:  Ladies and Gents, if you are just joining us, in the passed 3 minutes we have had 2 blockbuster matches announced for tonight.  In the main event Chris Benoit will face Vampiro.  Also tonight Edge will go one on one with Jerry Lynn.

Todd Petingill:  Speaking of match Joel, we have one to go down right now.  Yoshiro Tajiri will go one on one with the powerful, yet surprisingly agile Sean O’Haire.

Tajiri’s music starts to play.

He starts to walks down to the ring as the crowd cheers him.

Tajiri waits in the ring as Sean O’Haire’s music plays and the crowd cheers for him.

O’Haire gets into the ring and the two men await the bell.

Todd Petingill:  Both these men are fan favorites, but I think Tajiri has the edge in crowd support.

Joel Gertner:  You know, the more I think about it, it makes me sick.

The bell rings and the two men stare at each other in the middle of the ring.

Tajiri jumps up and catches O’Haire off guard with a quick kick to the chin.

O’Haire backs up and Tajiri swings a roundhouse kick to the chest.

O’Haire blocks the kick and hits Tajiri in the face with the palm of his hand.

O’Haire then kicks him in the gut and Tajiri slouches over.

Sean O’Haire gets in position and kicks Tajiri right in the head.

Joel Gertner:  Whoa, how did that happen…Tajiri had the most lethal kicks both ECW and WWF had ever seen?

Todd Petingill:  Well for one, this is MECW not the minor leagues, and secondly…Sean O’Haire has a background as an undefeated kick boxer…Tajiri will have to win this one on the mat if he is to win at all.

Tajiri quickly gets back to his feet and looks in disgust at O’Haire.

O’Haire strikes his best and most intimidating kickboxing pose.

Tajiri then charges at O’haire and O’Haire goes for a back body drop.

Tajiri flips up and lands on his feet.

O’Haire turns around and Tajiri kicks him in the head.

O’Haire falls down to a knee and Tajiri gives him two quick back and forth loud kicks, and then dropkicks him right in the nose.

Todd Petingill:  Impressive moves by Yoshiro Tajiri.  This could be a real turning point in this match up.

O’Haire gets up and wipes the blood that is trickling from his nose.

Tajiri is busy looking the other way, and O’Haire gets up.

Tajiri turns around and O’Haire hits a diving shoulder block.

Both men are quick to get up, and Sean O’Haire hits a monstrous clothesline.

Joel Gertner:  That was the most intimidating clothesline I have seen in quite some time.

Tajiri doesn’t get up this time

O’Haire picks him up by his neck and snap suplexes him hard to the mat.

Todd Petingill:  That suplex reminds me of the great dynamite kid.

Joel Gertner:  Yeah, I guess the last time you worked in wrestling, there were the oldies around huh?

Both men are to a vertical base.

Tajiri swings a foot at O’Haire and O’Haire catches in at his waste.

Tajiri then goes for a spinning kick, but O’Haire ducks it.

Yoshiro Tajiri lands on his feet and does a reverse spinning kick and plants O’Haire in the back of the head.

Tajiri then makes a cover…1…2…O’Haire kicks out and throws Tajiri across the ring.

Tajiri gets up and runs after O’Haire and dives for a flying forearm.

O’Haire dodges it and sends Tajiri chest first into the corner.

Tajiri staggers out backwards from the corner.

Sean O’Haire grabs him and hits a big hangman’s neck breaker in the center of the ring.

Todd Petingill:  I thought Yoshiro had the win with that pinning predicament, but the pendulum has swung the whole 360 degrees hasn’t it Joel?

Joel Gertner:  Well, if it swung 360 degrees it would be back where it started physics Major Todd.

Meanwhile, O’Haire has climbed up to the top rope.

Tajiri lies motionless in the middle of the ring.

O’Haire leaps off for a huge elbow drop, and hits Tajiri square in the heart.

O’Haire gets right back up and motions for the Sean Ton Bomb

He climbs back to the top rope and leaps half way across the ring

Tajiri gets both of his knees up and hits square across the back.

Tajiri gets up and so does O’Haire.

O’Haire grabs him and plants him with a DDT.

Sean signals again for the Sean Ton Bomb.

He reaches over to move Tajiri to the middle of the ring and Tajiri spits the green mist right into his eyes.

Tajiri reaches up and rolls Tajiri into an inside cradle…1…2…O’Haire barely kicks out.

Todd Petingill:  Oh, that was soooo close.

Joel Gertner:  Look down in the entrance way.

Matt Hardy and Mark Jindrak run down and dive into the ring with a steel chair in Jindrak’s hand.

Sean O’Haire turns around and Jindrak cracks him across the head.

The ref calls for the bell with O’Haire winning by disqualification.

Joel Gertner:  Looks like we have a winner, and I am glad to see these two guys finally on MECW television.

O’Haire battles back to his feet and Jindrak lays the chair on the ground.

Hardy grabs O’Haire and gives him the twist of fate onto the chair.

Tajiri then gets in the face of Jindrak and the two men beat Tajiri down and roll him and O’Haire out of the ring.

Matt Hardy then grabs a microphone and brings it to the ring and gives it to Jindrak

Mark Jindrak:  Hey Sean, you want to go an team with Jeff Hardy…well go ahead, cause I have found myself a little tag team of my own.  You see, Matt Hardy approached me and we want to face you two for the MECW tag team titles at the Pay Per View.

Matt Hardy:  And guess what, we already brought our problem to Alex Clauson, and he said that the match was in the process of being booked.  He also said for us to prove we want the titles and to make a name for ourselves tonight on MECW TV.  So brother Jeff, why don’t you come out right now so we can get things started a little early.  You guys can add this little jap and make it 3 on 2.

Joel Gertner:  And where is your hero Jeff Hardy?

Todd Petingill:  You and I both know that Jeff is not in the arena tonight, he is watching for somewhere else.  But when he gets wind, you can bet that neither you nor I want to be in their shoes when Jeff goes for retaliation.

Joel Gertner:  No need to stick up for that coward.  You’re little not in the building excuse sounds as likely as a future of MECW Afghanistan going up next week.  Jeff Hardy is a coward, lets face it.  And now we have some commercials to attend to.

COMMERCIAL BREAK

The camera comes back to MECW TV where Pamela Paulshock is backstage with Jerry Lynn

Pamela Paulshock:  Well Jerry, it looks like Edge is getting what he wants up next with you.  Now, this was all started for your hatred of the Van Dam’s…do have anything to say about this Jerry?

Jerry Lynn:  Yeah, you see…Andy really pissed me off.  I am the new fu (bleep) in show, and he better recognize…hey what the hell are you doing!?!

Jerry Lynn:  This is bullshit, Edge…now I’m pissed and I’m gonna kick your ass tonight.

Feel So Numb by Rob Zombie then plays and Edge comes down through the crowd with the fans cheering him on and patting him on the back.

Jerry Lynn’s music plays and he comes sprinting down to the ring with a pissed off look.

Lynn slides into the ring and swings at Edge.

Edge ducks it and suplexes Edge down hard on his back

Todd Petingill:  Jerry Lynn is not waiting at all for this match.

Joel Gertner:  Well he just got cut off backstage; I know that he is very upset.  Jerry Lynn is not the kind of guy who lets things go easily.

The bell rings and both men get up
