Joan Hall Hovey Joan Hall Hovey has been writing professionally for over two decades. Her short stories and articles have appeared in numerous magazines and newspapers including Mystery Scene, The Reader, Seek, Home Life, Secrets, True Confessions, Atlantic Advocate, Fredericton Gleaner and The Toronto Star. She is also a writing instructor, having taught courses at the University of New Brunswick, held workshops at various schools and libraries. Her first two novels, Listen to the Shadows and Nowhere to Hide received glowing reviews from readers and reviewers alike. She is hard at work on her new novel.
