Urg... The Iraq/Amercani Conflict is really getting on my nerves... The U.S. can't seem to see how pig-headed they're being about all this.. Like for instance, they seem to neglect that not too long ago, Iran and Iraq were at war, so since Iran didn't want U.S. support, the U.S. gave Iraq weapons too! Now they want their weapons back and will blame Iraq for anything they can just so they can justify blowing it up... Also, the U.S. got the U.N. to inspect, and now they expect the rest of the world to join them in bombing Iraq! I can't quite get that.. but oh well...
Also, Bush is supposed to represent the american people to the rest of the world, but I have a hard time imagining them as trigger-happy people who won't stop until they can shoot something, and seem to have oil as the only benefit from the Iraqi war, yet he's trying to develop technologies to make the U.S. self-sufficient...
An interesting debate I saw..
