For more than a decade Chris
LeClair has worked at the forefront of Canada's consulting
community in the field of organizational analysis and
strategic planning for associations. He has led association
merger exercises in nine different industry sectors and
has helped numerous associations develop more effective
organizational structures.
In addition, he has acted as the catalyst for the development
and implementation of business and strategic plans for
dozens of business, professional, and service associations.
Chris has pioneered techniques for organizational benchmarking
which have systematically led to more representative governance
and enhanced member service delivery for his association
clients.

Chris is a frequent speaker
at association Annual General Meetings and a regular contributor
to Association Magazine. In fact, he recently wrote a
CSAE published Monograph, A Guide to Strategic Planning
for Non- Profits. Prior to entering the association-consulting
field, Chris worked for a national industry association
in the area of membership recruitment and government relations.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in Political
Science from McMaster University.
