Anthony McGlynn serves as
Association Strategy Group's legal counsel and is a Partner
with the firm Perley-Robertson, Hill & McDougall in their
Corporate-Commercial Group. Anthony advises association
clients on a number of strategic issues, including: corporate
restructuring issues such as mergers, the establishment
of foundations and the associated drafting of by-laws.
He also counsels Boards of Directors in liability and
fiduciary responsibility matters and in the area of employment
law. In addition to his legal background, Anthony has
devoted considerable time as a volunteer to various non-profit
causes.

To this end, he has served
as Honourary Solicitor of the Loeb Research Institute
(1998-2001), the Chair of the Ottawa-Carleton Board of
Trade, (1998) and the Treasurer for the Ottawa-Carleton
Community Care Access Centre, (1998/99). Anthony was admitted
to the Bar in 1986 and holds an LL.B from the University
of Ottawa where he graduated magna cum laude. He also
has an M.A. in History and B.A. Honours in Economics and
History combined from Carleton University.
