HITTMAN HAS OFFICIALLY LEFT AFTERMATH! BUT WHO DID HE SIGN WITH? YOU'LL HAVE TO CHECK BACK TO FIND OUT. DON'T WORRY THOUGH, IT'S STILL ALL LOVE LOVE WITH DRE. AND I WON'T MAKE Y'ALL WAIT TOO LONG.
BTW, YES DRE AND MEL ARE STILL ON TOP OF THE BEATS!!!!

--------------------------------------------
Hittman (Brian Bailey) is Dr Dre's newest protege, following in the footsteps of Snoop Dogg and Eminem expectations are high. Unfortunately he's not going to have an easy task following them, critics have already labelled him boring. Personally I think his style is laid back, but far from boring. Hittman stands for "Highly Intense Tongue Talents Make All Nervous"
At the moment none of these have been released as singles, but Hittman cameod in Still DRE and The Next Episode, and did an verse of a new beat at the end of the video for Forgot About Dre.
There is also a very rough 'leftover' version of Whats The Difference with Hittman & Eminem instead of Xzibit & Eminem. Hittmans verse on this version is dope, but I think they probably had to remove more Hittman stuff from 2001 as well, judging by the amount he is already on.
Hittman appeared on Kurupts Tha Streetz Iz A Mutha on the track Ho's A Housewife, a remake of an earlier Kurupt track (from Kuruption) which is almost the same track as Housewife on 2001. The differences are that Dr.Dre and Kurupt speak on the phone about the track at the beginning on the Streetz version, and that Dre's lyrics are slightly different.
Since Dr. Dre's 2001, and Kurupts Tha Streetz Iz A Mutha Hittman's only appearance has been on a track called 'Blow it up' from the DJ Hurricane album 'Don't Sleep' which was released on 10th of October 2000.
Hittman was interviewed in the April 2000 copy of The Source (p172) (its the issue with the Dre/Snoop/Cube on the cover), the picture of hitt carrying a silver case I've seen as an "exclusive" on some sites is from that issue. The interview wasn't a very big so I've reproduced it here.
This has given Aftermath a chance to stike back on Hittmans album. Hope Dre lets him do it, this could get interesting.
At the moment Hittmans album is behind that of the new Aftermath signee, a female r&b singer called The Truth aka Truth Hurts who performed some hooks on the Up In Smoke Tour. Hittman isn't shown in any videos, but he is seen in the background - most notably during the Proof Freestyle (Proof is a member of Eminems group D12). I don't know whether he actually performed or not.
Hopefully Hittmans album will drop before latest Aftermath signee Rakims 'Oh My God'. Also rumoured to be coming from Aftermath is a Up In Smoke themed compilation and one from spotlighting Mel-man both will feature tracks from Hittman, and should be dropping after his album.
For the Aftermath compilation Warren G and Daz have co-produced a track which features Snoop, Kurupt, Hittman and Mz Roq. Some people are claiming Hittman was never officially signed to Aftermath despite many obvious indications to the contrary.
The booklet for 2001 lists him as appearing courtesy "Aftermath Entertainment/Big Yacht Entertainment" and his publishing information listed on it was "B.Bailey/Loot On Loose Leaves/Big Yacht Publishing".
So far several titles have been pushed around for the album 'The Big Hitt', 'Big Hitt: The final days of Brian Bailey', 'Brian Bailey LP', 'Ackrite 2000' and 'Ackrite' - the latest title is 'Hitt's Big Score' Production wise the rumours so far are that it will mainly be provided by Dre, Mel Man and Battlecat with some by Warren G, Bud'da and Sir Jinx. Dr.Dre is executive producing the album and I guess he will mix it too.
The first rumoured song was Bronson 2000 a remake of NWA's Comptons in the house with a 2001 style beat. The other known track is 'Last Days (At Your Service)' which is the full version of the track from Hitts segment on the 'Forgot About Dre' video.
Before Death Rows Too Gangsta For Radio dropped rumours started circulating of a Mel-Man and Warren G produced track called Bronson Side. This follows rumours of beef between CJ Mack, Hittman and Mel-man. The track featuring Timebomb and Knocturnal challenges CJ Mack.
During the video shoot for Eminems 'Stan' Hittman told someone from hiphopsite.com that he expected his album to drop in Spring 2001.
The more I hear of Hittman, the more I think he sounds like King T. Ironically the former Aftermath artist King T's only verse on 2001 in Some LA Niggaz contains "Picture this, Dr. Dre twistin wit Tha Liks and Hittman bought a fix". Lets hope Hittman doesn't go the same route King T went.

We now know that Hittmans verse of Bitch Niggaz is aimed at CJ Mack

...Ever since you was mad doggin me with that bitch in yo' car Fool {singing} "Who do you think you are? Mr. Big Stuff" Man, you shit on Hitt, get yo' shit bust; plus pistol-whipped, cover it up use yo' bitch's blush Mr. Powda Puff yo', bark ain't loud enough, huh...

Powda Puff is a reference to a single from the 1995 CJ Mack album True Game.

CJ-Mack dissed Dre, Hittman, and Aftermath on Death Rows - Too Gangsta For Radio (The track is called I Aint Fuckin Wit Cha) which came out first, here are the Hittman related lines from the track.

... Ain't no sense to fuck with me cos i'm a night owl
Hittman, nigga you through
Co-signing like a bitch from the side lines fool
You better ask that tight jeans wearin ass fag
Ain't a pair of cuffed khakis in the Aftermath camp
Bitch, find that ass stomped
The same niggas got you pumped
Will get your dumb ass dumped
Was you scared when you were stared at
If you were bitch, then get at us when you were mad at By the way ain't Hittman gay or somethin
And the white boy better not say nothin ...
... I'm a make me a prediction look I bet before this record drops,
Hittman get his ass whooped ...

The song ends with CJ Mack chanting...

"Dr Dre, killa Hittman, killa Eminem, killa Aftermath, killa"
