I found beauty in Atlanta
In the faces of friends.
Friends who had previously been known
By their words and pretty colors and fonts
But who now stood before me.
And there was kinship.

I found beauty in Atlanta
In the laughter and fellowship.
In the easy comraderie of people bonded.
Bonded by our singleness...
Bonded even more deeply by love for our Savior.
And there was unity.

I found beauty in Atlanta
In a park...on a picnic
In a walk in the woods
In a watergun fight
In easy interaction of those who had just met.
And there was accord.

I found beauty in Atlanta
In the sounds of Amazing Grace
Reverberating through the forrested terrain.
Of voices blended...of hearts melded
In awe of the wonders of our God.
And there was harmony.

I found beauty in Atlanta
As each shared from their heart
Spontaneous praise and adoration
Emanated round the room
And God's blessings flowed.
And there was worship.

I found beauty in Atlanta
In prayer
Round the circle, hand in hand
God's annointing on each
As we touched the throne of God.
And there was power.

I found beauty ...
At the feet of Jesus
