The Process
1. Begin research. Study your poets life and poems (at least the ones studied in class). You will need to look at at least 3 poems from this poet. Locate a recurring theme in that poets works, allowing that to be what your article is about.
Examples would be: Nature, Love, Religion, Death, etc.
2. Questions you may want to ask:
a. What is Frost's view on (a certain theme)?
b. How does he show this theme in their poetry?
c. Does anything from this poets life infuence this theme? If so, what?
d. How does this poets background influence his writing?
e. What do critics say about this idea?
3. Be sure to give detailed examples from poems or articles. REMEMBER TO CITE!
