Members of the First Edition from Jefferson High School Lafayette, Indiana are celebrating their eighteenth season as one of the finest show choirs in the Mid-West. In the past thirteen years, this select group of young singers, dancers, instrumentalists, and technicians has been recognized on four occasions by the Indiana General Assembly for outstanding achievements in musical performance and community contributions.
The First Edition has been named Grand Champion at many contests including Center Grove's Best of the Midwest, Chicagoland Showcase, Mooresville Invitational, Pekin, Watseka, East Coast Invitational, Fort Wayne Carroll, Huntington, Opryland, Lawrence Central, Showstoppers National Invitational, and five times at the Bishop Luers Invitational. They have also performed for National conventions of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and State Farm Insurance.
This outstanding group of young performers was featured on "This Morning on CBS", "ESPN", and have appeared in Miami, Orlando, Philadelphia, Nashville, Washington D.C., Chicago, Boston, Los Angeles, and New York City, as well as on the Majesty of the Seas cruiseship.
The First Edition is directed by John Satterfield and Jeff Vallier, and choreographed by Brent Holland.
