for those who don't know, sabers are the swords that we twirl.  The VU Guard doesn't normally do weapons, however, they are very prominent in high school bands.
 

this is for all the guard girls out there:

1. it would never leave you for another girl,

2. it may hurt at first, but after you develop your realtionship more, it stops,

3. if you say you have to go practice flag or rifle, it won't get jealous or posesive

4. it never whines at you

5. If you get mad at it you can toss hard and fast.

6. after the season you can only spin once and a while..and it won't whine
