Owain
Davies, singer and lead tambourinist, carries this band. Cazzo, without
Owain, they'd be nothing. In fact, were it not for his vocals, the band
would be out on their sorry arses. He makes it all happens. We thank him
for just being Owain.
Owain's awe inspiring Welsh tinged vocal style is reminiscient of the likes of Tom Jones and his prowling stage presence gives him the unmistakable air of rock and roll royality. Truly he is one of the most promising singers of his generation. On stage with the Supersonics, Owain shares the singing duties with Boaz. Already a firm favourite with the Supersonics' ever expanding fan base, his belief - his knowledge - that the band owe him everything, is thought to be leading to conflict within the band. Although the band's management strenuously deny these persistent rumours, other members have confided that in the presence of a musician so obviously bound for greatness as Owain, they can not help but feel intimidated. Honest. Oh, and he's never shit scared about going on stage.
