Boaz
Sachs is the Supersonics' rhythm guitarist and one of the band's two lead
singers. His musical heritage goes back to his days in early SJHS
bands like Pill and Dust. These bands eventually settled into Boaz's main
musical project, Leaf,
where Boaz plays guitar and is lead vocalist. Having lived in Italy for
the majority of his life, it was Boaz's links in the Italian music industry
that helped The Supersonics to get a recording session. It was also what
helped them hire a shit bass guitar from the dodgy geezer over the road.
Despite the length of time Boaz has been involved in music, he is still incapable of remembering the words to Lithium by Nirvana. He can scream the chorus quite well though... so long as it's at the end of the set and he won't have to sing again after it. Another slight hint of lead singer style unprofessionalism came in a recent gig when Boaz stopped singing half way through "I Will Survive" to tell Germma Redgate to shut up. Which is fair enough.
Boaz thinks that Patrick Bateman from American Psycho is "cool". Make of that what you will, but don't be surprised if it turns up in a psychiatric report to his murder trial. Oh yeah, and he killed a bunch of people once.
