ain soph aur "self titled" demo - self released
ain soph aur is the new project of frank gauthier (ex mis-and-thrope, deche-charge, etc).
with this new project he takes a new turn. no more harsh noise or noisecore here. he
attacks with weird ambient ("anti") structures. this new release is far more experimental
than any of his previous recordings. really innovative, original and interesting. i can't
tell you how it sounds like since i don't know any bands that sound like him... check it out!

kevin drumm "comedy" cd - moikai
thiis a really interesting release since it is one of the first time that i find enjoyable to listen
to computer noise. kevin drumm use powerbook and prepared guitar to create etereal
soundscapes. the album begin with deep digital sounds and finish the same way but between
these there is a whole lot of different things. the second piece, simply called "second", have
really nice sound to create a slightly more calm and releaxing sensation. most of the tracks
are drony and kind of psychedelic. they make you travel far into your unconsciousness. some
work have been done with jim o'rourke (know for his work with melt banana, sonic youth, etc).
that's all.

neue migrene/sist en 343 "split" demo - abnormal tapes
here is a truly underground and d.i.y. release from the slovenian cult label abnormal tapes.
this tape began with neue migrene which is minimal lo-fi experimental keyboard. weird stuff
and not really interesting since the sound is not good and the melodies either. if you like shit
noise or this type of truly underground and uncommercial music you may like it. as for sist en
343 it is the total opposite. power harsh noise/noisecore with member of snajper. really brutal
and violent it reminds me bands like c.c.c.c., deche-charge, scab, incapacitants, etc. just
extremely bestial and noisy. only one side really deserve attention...

phroq "the bushido way" demo - last train on a railway tapes
this was the first time i listen to the swiss noisicians phroq. their difinition is quite simple...
harsh noise! they make great noise with structures and sometimes repetive sound (sampling).
while listening to "the bushido way" the name masami akita (merzbow) was coming in my
mind often. i think it is a big influence for them (maybe i'm wrong). they are not aggressive
or violent but not calm. at my opinion one of the best release i have heard from last station
on the railway tapes.

vita-verbum-lux/ph˙cus "tem oph ab/i kill you! i kill you! i kill you!" 7" - spasmoparapsychotic records/total zero
i know theses two projects since a while but most of you might not. both vita-verbum-lux and ph˙cus
comes from montréal area. let's begin with vita-verbum-lux. primitive, raw and psychedelic noise with
difinetly a d.i.y. spirit. vita-verbum-lux is into a philosophical concept also... weird. on the other side
is ph˙cus with their song "i kill you! i kill you! i kill you!". ph˙cus is extreme old school industrial. they
are around since years. this recording is intense as hell with a girl screaming insanity and a furious
drum machine. some noise make with tools and metal in background. i really like this 7" but i doubt
everyone will.

warsore/gore beyond necropsy "nothing but enemies/no title" 7" - sterilized decay productions
here is a 7" of massive brutal power! the hellish southern grindcore warriors of warsore deliver us a
total attack of demonic grind blast. with songs like "confirmed kills", "living in my own excrement"
and "faecal gore gore attack (a gore beyong necropsy cover)" they destroy everything in their path!
gore beyond necropsy are just brutal and intense as warsore. they do cover of warsore's "melbourne
hillbillies" and "warpaint". if you like insane grindcore get this!!!,p>
