Here we are folks, the update you've all been waiting for. Apologies for the delay but we're here now hey. First off Diehards would like to express our sadness at the tragic death of Cameroon and Lyon player Marc Vivian Foe. Marco was a hugely talented player as two of our team can vouch for, Brian and Sam, as they were regulars at Upton Park when Marc was at West Ham United. Thanks for the memories Marc we will not forget you.

Now onto more lighter matters
First of all news of a new feature. After recently putting a hit counter on the site we have noticed a large number of fans from abroad surfing in. We would love to hear from you wherever you are via email for our new feature Telford Fans Abroad. Tell us about yourselves, how you found the site, what you think of it, any other clubs you support etc. The email addy for that is beano_bruce @hotmail.com - had to leave a gap there so the underscore would show up. That's also the addy for any comments/queries/ideas you have for the site.
During our spell away Mickey Jones has been busy wheelin and dealin. Both midfielder Jordan King and striker Dave Brown have departed the Bucks Head for local rivals Hereford United. Jordan left on the 27th May while Dave left on the 2nd of June.
Two days after Dave left, Roger Preece was also out the door to take over as manager of League of Wales side Newtown. We wish Roger good luck in his management venture. On the same day Jonesey completed the signing of Nuneaton Borough keeps Chris Mckenzie on a freebie. He signed a two year deal.
On the 11th June Neil Howarth joined from Cheltenham Town also on a free. Howarth is also 31 and also signed a 2 year deal. Next day the pre season friendly list was announced. We kick off on the 14th July with a game against Grosvenor Park with a trip to Taunton Town five days later. Bridgwater follows on the 21st while the Shropshire Cup gets underway on the 24th July with a game against Brignorth Town. A visit to Hinckley on the 26th and presuming we make the final of the Shropshire Cup we will play on the 29th against either Ludlow Town or Shrewsbury and that'll be played on a neutral ground. All the other games are away ties. Then we have the big one. Our only pre season home game against Division One outfit Sheffield United on the 2nd August. Finally we visit Pelsall Villa on the 4th in our final preseasoner. Five days later the conference season gets underway with a trip to Barnet.
Promising striker Chris Murphy signs on 18th June for a free from local rivals Shrewsbury. The 20 year old penned a 2 year deal.
Finally, Stuart Whitehead joined from Darlington on the 26th. Whitehead is a central defender and is 26. On the same day Scott Green, 33, also signed. The former Bolton defender/midfielder signs from Wigan. Both transfers were on a free.
There we are kids. Big happenings at the Buckshead. Please contact us at the address near the top of the page with your thoughts on anything, even if you just want a link. We'll be sorting out the site interface shortly.
