It all started when a couple of bored guys had the wild idea of jammin' together to kill time before time killed them. You see,ab small redneck community like Centralia, WA contains enough boredommm to kill the average man in under 6 months. There are no skateparks,, no pool halls for minors, no good dance clubs or anything for youth.

We started out with Nate and Jason. They've been jammin' for years together on their guitars. Eventually Danny got a drum set andd learned how to use it in an astonishing little ammount of time. We played with no bass for months. Summer finally started to roll around andd the festivities started to pick up a little. Nate was planning on moving up to Olympia for the summer and we had a buddy who jammed and had previous band experience play with us. His name was Shadrock (now of Coupe DeVille). With Shad we played a show in Seaside, Oregon at a club called "E" with some other cool bands like Mack Truck.

Nate came back after the summer was over and Shad didn't have timeee to do anything anymore, so Shad left and eventually went on to do the Coupe DeVille thing. Jason left for California soon after Shad left and Nate returned. Since then, Nathan (RAT SHIT) has been playing bass for us.

By this time it was down to Danny, Nate, and Nathan. We wrote a whole new set of fresh new material and continued to jam four to five nights a week. Ahhh...the secret to a tight band is practice, practice, practice, practice...etc. Jason couldn't swing it back down in California so eventually he moved back and Nate took over guardianship so he could enroll in school.

Soon after we had some differences and the band wasn't communicating well at all. After some thought, it was decided that assless would be better off without Jasons attitude about practice. Things were soon resolved and all was well between the four friends. Jason soon after joined Gingervitus. We practiced some more, and them some more...and time came to play our first show w/o jason in quite a few months. It was at Evergreen College and went pretty good. (See Updates). Things were on a roll again.

And things kept rollin' for us. We soon after established a local practice hall which we later opened up as The Electric Chair. We had a new singer too; Colter Donavan. Many shows we played and many great local bands shared great memories out of the Electric Chair until it died for a small ammount of time in the fall of 2000. Fil of Backyard/the Harmons/the Adhesives took over the place and it is still actively open. The initial death was due to the reason we are here now. Our drummer Danny could not stand the dreary rain of Washington and had to head back to the land of Sunshine, Surf, and a Population above 10,000. This left Rat Shit, and Nate. The two moved to Olympia in December of 2000 to try our luck. To be continued....

ASSLESS.
