The Reviews:

Listen.com:
"Quirky New Wave that could've come from one of those
artsy '70s New York bands. Guitars and keyboards
play second fiddle to the vocalists sing-speak baritone."
Sounds Like: Devo, David Bowie, David Byrne, Talking Heads

Zzaj Productions:
"THE DERELICTS: May have this name 'coz it seems to be
a "roving" band, changing members all the time.
OTOH, this is some CLASS rock, very tightly put
together, certainly a professional sound! I liked
"Hindsight 20-20" & "Victim Of Society"
(a song about John Lennon), among others. Lots of
styles represented, you'll love this stuph if you
love well-crafted rock & roll! They get a
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED from me, as well as
(certainly)a H-O-T pick - check 'em out."

Orange Street Press:
"Cleveland hard rock outfit. Shades of 80's rock
hover here -- artists like Simple Minds, perhaps a bit
of David Byrne and Bowie. Done with "classic rock"
production values, the Derelicts are anything
but -- this is polished rock, strong on synth and guitar."

"A few thoughts on some of their mp3 songs:
"The Harbinger" -- loud and catchy guitar hookfest.
"DreamWorld" is good old fashioned American headbanger
rock. "What About Me, Mr. President" has strong harmonies
and an acoustic thrust that puts me in the mind of
sixties-style chamber pop. Which is to say that
you'll find diversity of approach among these Derelicts."

"I love the style and diversity of The Derelicts
baring a wonderful similarity to some of yesterday's favorites,
yet unique in their ability to compose memorably melodic songs that
could fit in to most any rock line-up.
In heavy rotation here, this is a band I would LOVE to see live!
