Feb 8th,2000 2:03am Well Just played a show with Link80 and MU330 a few hours ago it was friggin amazing! The new lineup with Me(Josh) and John on vocals is working out very well, the last few shows we've played have been the best we've ever played as a solid unit. I gave Geri from Mu330 my shirt which proclaimed "YOU DA MAN!" in large colorful letters because let's face it, Geri IS da man! Anyway we go back into the studio on the 11th so new shit will be out soon. Anyway have fun and be nice..... JOSH P.S. Sorry to all the dothan kiddies for having to cancel the show on the 4th John had to work, and almost had to quit the band because of work but its all been straightned out and the Metros PROMISE NEVER TO MISS A SHOW AGAIN!!!

Jan 10th, 2000; 2:26am Man havent updated this in while, in the latest news: Dale and the Metros have parted ways! Love him or hate him Dale was an interisting guy, but is no longer a Metro. But Alas, all is well because John and I have steped up to the vocal mike to put our spin on the songs, and soundin good too i might add! On a sadder note we have had to change the lyrics to all, yes i repeat ALL! of our songs, sorry guys but dont worry well have a new cd out soon so u will still be able to sing along.(espically all u Dothan kiddies) Studio Time has been booked for Feb 4th and 5th so well have some new stuff out soon. Hmmm played quit a few shows in the past while, cant really remember them all there were SOOO many but the Slackers show at the Java Pit was AWSOME! We'll be playing again with them in Pensacola on jan 25th so ALL COME OUT!!! MU330 will be returning again soon too, YIPPIE!!! Feb 8th so i want EVERYONE THERE!!!! anyway im tired.......JOSH

Oct 7th 4:24 a.m. Hi everybody hows it goin? Well it's been a wacky month here with the metros, We might actually be signing with a record label based in Alabama Called Permanent Reckerz very soon. Also, We played with Tilt 2 days ago and it was awsome! except for the Dale almost toppling the sluggos stage part. Evidently the Stage at sluggos here in pensacola was not quite as well put together as previously thought, Dale(singer) kinda kicked the front "Wing" of the stage, i'd guess youd have to call it that because it wasnt connected to the rest of the stage, and sent an explosion of mic stands everywhere it was rather exciting. We also played a show with our hommies Pain in Dothan Al. Thanks to our brotha's Hadji and the Turbans the show was a kick ass time. Speaking of Hadji and the Turbans look for a split CD between us and them featuring One cover of each others songs, one cover song, and maybe 1 or 2 originals ROK! Look for it on Permenant Rec. in the months ahead. Well more good news, the Metros have recently added a new sax player. Daniel is kicking ass as we speak he played his first show with us, edipus rex(of excuse me EdRex) and Pain at the Java Pit after 2 pratices, MIGHTY IMPRESSIVE if u ask me. Well thats about it have fun. Josh

Sept 6th. Well the CD is out and we've sold alot of copies thanks to everyone who bought one! The Last tour went alright heres a quick rundown with some shout outs: Aug 12th Dothan, Al. Play at a place called the K.O. Corral with our new best friends Hadji and the Turbans. THESE GUYS ROK! Theyre bass player Mike Bush is single handedly one of the the coolest guys weve ever met! We played for a decent crowd and they gave us all the money(THANK YOU U SAVED OUR ASSES!!!!!!!) and Mike let us stay at his house all around good time. Aug 13th Gainseville, Fl. Well this was the shittiest show ever our contact didnt even show up at the venue which was called the CMC and was a "lending library" so we decided to make the best of it and player harder than weve ever played before to 3 people they all bought cds and have some stories of a MAD band. We made 6 bucks from the door, were never playing there again nuff said. Aug 14th West Palm Beach , Fl. We played at the happy days cafe with a group called the Come-ons who were the biggest jerks and assholes wed ever played with. After informing us since it was theyre first show and hadn't drank enough beer yet we had to play first, we decided the give as good as we got. After a screaming match the assholes played first and talked shit on us the whole time they were up there. So when our set came, Dale being the kind man that he is talk ALOT OF SMACK i was so proud of him, it was great till about 12 skinheads burst into the club and started a fight. So we left at top speed. Here is a message from us to the come-ons: If u ever show up to play a show in Pensacola, BEWARE WE WILL BE THERE AND WE GIVE AS GOOD AS WE GET! You remember how u treated us, expect it to come back ten-fold. anyway. Aug 15th St. Augustine, Fl. After driving all night to get out of west hell beach we arrived to St. Augustine beach where were supposed to play at 4 in the morning, since we were playing a surf contest there at 11 a.m. we decided to sleep on the beach. We played a good show to about 100 people and Skif Dank rocked their asses off after us so it was a good day, we sold alot of merch and then hauled ass home. All in all we had an awsome time, the stuff that went down in gainesville and west palm only fuel our resolve to rock and give us funny stories to tell our friends. Our new band members TJ(trombone) and Jay(guitar) have only help us play BETTER THAN EVER. So buy a cd and support us if u please u wont be dissapointed. Well since the tour weve gotten a new sax player named Daniel hes a damn cool guy and we hope to have him up to speed a.s.a.p. because he rocks! Well thats it from the Metros newsroom. SHot out goes to Mike from Hadji "WERE NOT PEOPLE ANYMORE!!" till the next time im up at 3 a.m. bored, Josh

July 30th. Well folks the CD is done, BUY ONE! We recorded it at MoonRa studios here in P'cola it was a blast. In other news us and our guitar player Josh"the Devil God" have parted ways we wish him the best in the future, he has been replaced by the ALMIGHTY JAY this guy kicks ass were really really happy to have him hes added alot to our new sound and weve already written quite a few new songs with him. Also Were goin back on tour in august as well as playin alot of local shows. Come see us and sign the mailing list. Josh

June 22 1999. Man "Operation:Donate the Nookie" was one hell of a ride. We started here at home with very little cash and ended here at home with very little cash so not much is new :) We had a great time on the trip, we played Orbit3000 in daytona, Happy Daze in Deland, then Orbit3000 again, and ended it with a huge show here at home with Less than Jake. We met many a cool band, and many an asshole soundman. A few bands like, The Supervillans and Sargent Skaganetti were extra special ROKers. We can't wait to hit the road again sometime soon. If u want us in your town just e-mail me at edrex@powerh.net :) Love, Ass-we-pe'(a.k.a. Josh T.)

March 26th 1999. Well here it is the official Metros website. Theres not really a whole lot to say except that Mike and Lukes other band, Soma, played with Vanilla Ice the other day at club LaVela in Panama City. I think it's pretty cool, I wanna meet Vanilla Ice, I wanna tell him how much me ment to me when I was 12, he was a hero, especially when he was in Ninja Turtles 2 singin Ninja rap, that was AWSOME. Anyway, we should be making a demo soon so well keeo you posted. Buh-Bye JOSH
