Dustbowl

Dustbowl uses a bright desert theme where you have to storm the enemy base in beating hot sunshine. The aim of the map is to infiltrate the enemy base using whatever means possible to you and capture the flag on the three cpature points in order. Once you do this, the round ends and you win. The teams are labelled the 'Attackers' and 'Defenders' each with the obvious goal of capturing the flag and stopping the enemy from doing that respectively. The bases are full of prime defensive spots which means any attacker will have an extremely hard time getting anywhere: pure frustration is one of the best things about this map. The emphasis is on teamwork; whoever pulls together best will win.

Offensive Tips and Key Locations:

Offense on this map is more than a simple rush at the defense. The use of most classes especially the spy will pay off well to knock out the multitude of sentry guns that usually get built. Attacking is never easy if the defense is working as a team, its just all about pushing them back to the core of each capture point. Then clear them all out with some heavy classes so the light classes can start to move in for the capture.

Defensive Tips and Key Locations:

Defense on this map is certainly no easy attack because the offense always keeps coming at you. If they find a hole, they can very easily break through. That said, it is up to your team to block those holes with necessary sentry guns and heavy classes. There are always plenty of choke points you can exploit to the maximum. Remember all you need to keep doing is pushing them back and the time will run out.. eventually.
