New Providence is the name of the island where Nassau is located. Most people call the island Nassau even though Nassau is really just the capital. The Baja Mar Royal Bahamian Hotel and Resort is located on Cable Beach. There are a lot of hotels in the area but none of them are as cool as Baja Mar. Except maybe the Atlantis on Paradise Island but only because of the tunnel that goes underneath the shark habitat. You'll see it later.

This is the entrance to the Baja Mar. We took a Rolls Royce limousine from the Nassau International Airport which is about fifteen minutes away from the hotel. Our driver pointed out all the different kinds of plants and trees from the limo and told us all the best things to do and see. Brian totally ignored him but I thought he was very informative. I don't want to waste a minute of our vacation or miss anything!
